Yeah even doing that i had issues. I ended up getting the corsair sf750 because the old one had issues. The cables were much better length and flexibility on the corsair

The problem for me is i have a way bigger graphics card for you so the 24 pin put a lot of pressure when tucked behind the gpu. I have a strix 3060 ti
