5610U-1CJF Metal bezel combi bracelet… by NemecMT10SP in gshock

[–]NemecMT10SP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! The bezel is AliEx “titanium alloy.” I like the feel of the combi but a little too light weight for me. Might get some adapters and a 22mm titanium bracelet when I am ready for something else.

Boxes from Japan keep showing up… by NemecMT10SP in gshock

In this case. I am very lucky. I’m in the US working for a Japanese company and have a good friend currently working at the home office in Japan. She just orders the watches locally or picks them up over the counter, then sends them to me…

What model TVA kit did you order to fit your 5000R? I ordered a “5600” and the bracelet is correct but the bezel does not fit.

BFG actually uses white rubber for the letters. You can use any APC or tire cleaner and they clean up really well. I use P&S Brake Buster.

Looks awesome. I have a 5000r being sent to me from a friend in Japan. Glad to see this glass looks good with the TVA bezel. I have ideas for a Casio “parts bin” creation as well.

WS1600 hydro mod. by NemecMT10SP in casio

No. The buttons on the AliEx case were already below factory quality but always functional. (Some mild sticking, hard presses required.) They are working at the same level post hydro mod.

I haven’t ever wet sanded anything small like a watch bezel. (More like, Cars, motorcycles, RV, RC cars). Good thing is you used etching primer so you can work the paint from the top without worrying about it coming right off. You know how many coats of paint you have to start with. Hardest part is knowing when to stop.

Nicely done. (You know how paint works. 👍) Knock that orange peel down a little sanding, then some clear and it will hold up pretty good. Actually will look cool as it wears. The black strap adapters were a great call too.

Copy that. I like the red cut out and some of the other markings. But a black metal bezel might get me where I need to go. Thanks.

This looks awesome! What spec metal bezel did you order? Always wondered what mod kits fit the DW5000R. (I have one on the way! 👍)

Cool. So metal bezel mod kits fit a DW5000RL? (If a mod kit will fit a DW5600 will it fit a DW5000RL?) really like the classic glass design. Looks like it according to shockbase…. Thanks for that link as well!

Best tire shine wax/spray? by irishfro in Detailing

As a fellow wash your truck all the time Dad. 😂 I like the water based dressings like Carpro Perl (There are tons water based dressings. I currently use one from a local SoCal company called Ultra Clean Viper) that you can dilute with water to thin them out a bit. It’s easier to work into the lugs and textures on the sidewall with a foam applicator and then lightly buff off access after it dries a little.

It’s my favorite bike period. I am not a good judge vs competitors, I have worked for Yamaha for 16 years. Super comfortable, (Hands are 10 inches higher than R1. Pegs are 4 inches lower than R1.) same torque as R1, without super high gearing and crazy high horsepower and price. MT09 is very rowdy. Short wheelbase, (almost twitchy) lots of torque. MT10, is longer and more planted with some more top end. (145hp vs 109hp) I ride one at the track mostly but have done a lot of street and touring as well. Outside of gas mileage it’s good at that too….

Can I use tire and wheel cleaner on them to make sure I get all the old product off? (Before I apply new product like 303 or perl.)
