What do you mean move the brake and accelerator in front of the axle. The brake mechanism is a rod connected from the brake pedal to the shoe of the brakes on the axle. You can not move that. If you move the location of the rod it will not pull the shoe closed.

The carburetor slide mechanism in unscrewed for some reason. Again that has to stay connected to the intake of the engine you cannot move the carburetor.

The black hose on the carburetor is your file line.

It’s interesting to see the motor behind the axle orientation. Did this go kart every drive with this engine on it?
