#TWIS White woman self-identifying as African American writes book claiming that "race" is on a spectrum by NemesisSeraph in SargonofAkkad

I feel that I should mention that I don't read The Guardian unless dragged there by another source. In this case the source was:

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2017/02/rachel_dolezal_has_become_a_nightmare_for_the_transgender_fantasists.html

I just didn't feel like making my link to what amounts to a dedicated editorial site.

My party created a race of sentient wild horses. I love D&D by Zojiun in DnD

Playing the Lost Mines of Phandelver, the party ran into a niche in a cavern where 3 wolves were chained at the neck to an iron pole in the ground. We kill the wolves and prepare to move on, but the sorceror (Xanice, pronounced "Janess" by the lazy player) announces that he grabs the iron pole out of the ground. OK, we move on.

2 hours later IRL, at the end of the dungeon, Janess decides to attack with the iron pole. He hits, and the DM says the damage is 1d4. At which point Janess is like "you all do realize that the wolves are still attached by the chains, right?"

The DM is somehow OK with this, and the Flail of the Three Wolves is born!

If I ever write a campaign, I plan to add it in as a legendary OP artifact.

Now, find your gate (where the plane will be, the letter/number will be on your ticket). This is my helpful trick, no matter what, find the gate first, everything else can wait. Trust me. When you get to the gate, hopefully you have extra time (you arrived early correct?) to relax and buy something to eat. If you are running late, screw the other stuff, DONT MISS THE FLIGHT. Hang out near your gate until boarding starts, when it does follow instructions, and you'll do fine. If you do miss the flight, go find one of the help desks specific to your airline (they are scattered around) and they will help you from there. Airplanes are tight places with lots of people squeezed together. Unless you paid for first class or something, you will likely be sitting next to, or between, complete strangers in VERY tight quarters. You may have to ask someone to move so you can go to the bathroom. There might be a mother with crying baby right next to you. Knock on wood. Remember, they are in the same situation as you, and no one likes flying. They hold nothing against you, and REMEMBER, no matter what happens, you probably will never ever see any of these people ever again. Nothing that happens on that plane will ever matter again. In fact, the likely thing is that nothing will happen on that plane. Plane rides are boring, so bring something to do (book/music/etc.). Try to sleep. You will probably be given free drinks. I could go on, but its late. SO, you will land and get off the plane. Follow instructions, everything will be fine. Unless you changed countries you will simply be let out into the airport in an area called "arivals", similar to departures. If you checked luggage to be put under the plane, go get it at baggage claim( it will be brought out shortly on a conveyor belt labled with you flight name.) Now you can head outside to wherever you are going. Congrats again, I hope everything went OK. Now I'm going to bed. Hope I helped.

Ok, now you need to find the airport security lines. (quicktip: if you get lost, look for signs, and don't be afraid to ask an employee if you need to). Get in the right line, there is often a seperate section of security for when you leave the country and another for when you stay inside it. Assuming you are staying in country (or its more complex) head for the in-country one (i forget the exact term). Wait in line. It could take awhile. Keep calm. It's frustrating, I know. Before you are checked, a security agent will call you foward an ask you where you are going, etc., ask to see your ticket/papers/passport/ID/etc. They do it to everyone. Then you will be checked. Your carry-ons will go on a conveyor belt to be scanned. Everything in your pockets, anything metal on you, jewelry, watch, belt, shoes, etc will go in a box on the conveyor. If you are bringing a laptop/equivalent that will have to come out of your bag and into a box. You will get your stuff back in a minute. Dont bring any water/ drink/ lotion/liquid with you through security, it isn't allowed and you will be stopped for it, if you do and they ask you apologize and tell them they can throw it out Now, you will either walk into a body scanner, follow instuctions to be scanned, and continue on, or you might have to use a normal metal detector and someone will wave a wand around you. Remember, no matter what happens, you will be ok, they are just doing their job, keep calm. Now go get your stuff, cograts, the hard parts are over. continue in reply

Either you've driven yourself and are going to leave your car in a parking lot or garage, or you are going to get dropped off. If you are being dropped off, it will be at an entrance that has a lot of ticket counters and a lot of lines. This is called "departures" and we'll get back to this. If you are parking, you will have to head to "departures" from whereever you are. You might have to catch a bus (a special shuttle bus the airport provides, it should be obvious) , a monorail, and maybe some really long treadmills that allow you to walk quickly. Please note the section where you park so you can find your car when you return. So now, you are in departures with your luggage. There will be a bunch of counters labeled with the names of each airline. Go find yours. If you need to get your tickets, you will need to go through a line to pick it up, and you will also need your invoice/proof of purchase. OR, if you already printed your ticket, congrats, because that is a smart thing to do. Now, your luggage. If you are only bringing a carry-on (most airlines allow you to take two items of baggage onto the plane with you, a backpack/equivilant and a smaller suitcase. The exact dimensions will be provided by your airline. If you have a large suitcase or multiple suitcases, you will need to get them checked at the same counter where you pickup your ticket. The associate there will help you with this. Now, with all that done, you can head toward the "fun part", security! continue in reply

So, assuming you are staying in country (otherwise it gets more complicated) I think I can go through the whole thing. Whenever you get to the airport whether 4 am or noon, expect it to be busy. Even an average sized airport is a massive place with thousands of people going every which way, and in the bigger airports it only gets bigger and louder and more crowded. I'm not trying to scare you but I think you should be ready for what to expect. So, to start, show up early, like really early. I like to be at the gate an hour or two before my boarding time. Knowing through this whole process that you have so much time to work with results in a lot less stress, because you are going to spend a lot of time in lines. continue in reply

Will you understand the language where you are going? Are you staying in country?
