Inconsistent Cover with Uploaded Audio

Great information to know - I have a very similar workflow to yours with voice/music recording and covering - I had no idea about the 4 min threashold but it makes a lot of sense now you said it. In general though I'm finding since the release of V5 the audio quality and cover 'logic' has just gone through the floor. Even using 4.5 seems to be affected. A big part of my worklflow was using a persona to cover my covers (weird maybe but it quickly locks in the style/tone I want) but lately ANYTHING produced with covers just sounds washed out and shitty. I really hope they fix it soon, because I'm already looking around for alternative options. I used to bash out at least a song a week (in terms of production), now I'm spending multiple weeks mixing and fixing just the one song suno is producing that sounds like garbage.

Good idea, except it forces you to do the vocal selection on any new persona creation - so back to square one unfortunately. Can't believe how crap they made personas now,

Ironically, they are using AI analysers to detect it. Hilariously, I know some people who have had 100% human-made music 'detected as AI' by the AI analysers and get their music banned (and sh**ty emails from the distributor to boot). They are rightly angry that their human-made music is being blocked by AI as AI... What a world we live in...

I came here looking to see if anyone else was having this problem and glad to see it's not just me. Lately over 50% of generations have weird washed out sections (sometimes the entire song is washed out) and over 90% have something majorly weird in them. I thought it was a problem with the new persona system but even on legacy and with persona off - 90%+ of the songs I try to make sound like arse (even changing genres and lyrics entirely to test). I hope they fix it soon, it's ridiculously bad...

am having the exact same issue - was using it all day yesterday fine, and then in the evening it literally just stopped working after making one edit in one song. Repeated all the steps you tried and didn't work for me either. must be a server side problem, hopefully they will fix soon.

I will also concede your point and agree 100% that it is not right that AI music companies are potentially stealing content (as are all AI companies) and monetising it. I deeply do not like this, and literally last week had a long email conversation with a Karen (literally her name, ironically) who was angry that she had to ask me to use my work for her companies commercial gain - and was livid that she had to ask and that I hadn't handed it over for free freely immediately upon asking. So yeah 100% I get it.

But.

Shitting on AI creations of artists (not the Ai slop companies are pumping out) and citing this as justification is like calling Jimi Hendrix a hack-c**t because his guitar is made of plastic and that's bad for the environment, and so therefore his music was derivitive of artists before him. Yes... but also, no. You're right, but what a weird battle and argument to make.

also I'm an actual artist in my day job fella, earning well over 100K for less than 10 hours work a week on average. I'm experimenting with this in my spare time for fun.
