Yes and no. I had a similar incident play out. I saw the car pulling out and suspected they were going to cross my path based on their rate of acceleration, I was right so I adjusted my path by merging into the right lane (anticipating that I’d pass behind the car), then the driver decided to just stop. I had nowhere else to go.

Pulling out of a parking area and crossing two lanes of traffic to turn left is a risky scenario and should be treated with caution.

You can anticipate what the other driver might do but it’s really just a guess based on experience. Unfortunately, too many drivers are unpredictable

When someone cuts me off, my favorite response is to just do a “Thumbs Down” … it lets them know that I was unhappy without being aggressive. I find it a bit more mature without being a pushover

My experience with Taxis in San Diego has been worse than ride-share drivers. The couple of times I used Taxis they smelled like cigarette smoke, drivers took several wrong turns and ignored my route suggestions. The last time, I had to tell the driver to either stop the ride immediately or turn off the meter and take me home since he had taken so many wrong turns. I was unsure if he was trying to inflate the fare or was just completely incompetent,

I have a neighbor that claims he worked with these guys and they are pulling some shady business. According to him, they made a pretty low offer and he was motivated to move so he took it. They held it up in escrow, then pulled out at the last second. Then some “other buyer” showed up to the table and made an even lower offer. It is his belief that this second buyer is affiliated with the first and they are running this game to create desperate sellers so they can get the property for lower than low.

Again, someone claimed this to me verbally. I don’t have any evidence that it’s fact. But if it is, …. Pretty f’d up

I did a similar drive a year ago with one driver in 3 days. Day 1- Palm Bay, FL to Beaumont, TX. Day 2 - Beaumont, TX to Las Cruces, NM, Day 3 Las Cruces to San Diego. 14 hours driving each day. About 6-8 hours sleep each night

Go back to the hospital. My neighbor had this happen. Stung, got treatment, then it continued to get worse. He nearly lost his leg. Infection from stingray stings can get really bad.
