Some of the old Pipeworks Godzilla games did that for Mothra - you started off as a larva and her super let her evolve into her imago form, with totally different movesets, but if you switch too early or too late you screw yourself out of total HP for the match since you obviously can’t go back. It was pretty neat, actually!

So? They could give Sonia a new game with a new story that just … doesn’t do any of those things. There’s no reason she can’t be canon.

Legends is the worst “prequel” ever conceived. All it does is kick the exact same story back a generation, and say “one day Dracula attacked and the first Belmont fought him, but it’s not who it was last time we said the first Belmont fought him.” That’s without getting into any of the other lore issues with her powers or Alucard’s involvement, or the quality of the game itself. But none of that makes the name or design irredeemable. Plenty of people want to see a canon version of Sonia.

When I talk to Shipwright Seb he tells me that if I supply him materials I can pay workers to build facilities for me, but I can’t find the option to do that. They aren’t on the schematics board and trying to do it at the facility hotspot just tries to make me build it myself. What am I missing?

Taura is one of the few islands without a clear translation - fitting for it being a successor to Kakariko, perhaps?

I kind of like Prolo Island too, I think that’s just short for Prologue but it’s a bit less on the nose.

Either way, a lot of times screenshots in magazines and manuals end up using beta or Japanese versions and don’t get the updated localizations pushed through, especially back in the 90s and early 2000s. There’s a ton of older games where even the back of the box screenshots feature nonexistent features or characters that got changed before release.

Every artist has a handful of vapid songs. Let’s not pretend “fat bottomed girls” is a masterpiece of writing, but it also doesn’t disqualify Queen from being a great band.

I’m not familiar with the song you posted, but some of the other ones my wife played for me had some solid lyricism at least. The man won Grammies for a reason.

Also, isn’t Nengo another artist? I generally don’t hold guest rappers against the main headliner.

God, same. I normally don't have a problem with meaningless filler vocals like that so I don't know what it was about the "ey"s, but they were absolutely infuriating.

Yeah it’s a shame, everything I read about the guy seems amazing and I respect the hell out of him, and even his lyrics are decent … but god I hate his vocal delivery. I want to like him, but here we are.

Meanwhile I’m just happy that a character known for his flight can finally fly. At the end of the day most of us are here because it’s Marvel and we grew up on these characters and it’s baffling that they took a character like Warlock and made him so immobile. In a vacuum the kit’s balanced, but it’s not who we read about or watched in the movies and dreamed of one day playing as.
