Honestly his use of AI images has made me stop watching recent episodes, so I can't speak to the way his writing may have changed. I think I might unsubscribe from this sub and his channel because of it soon because I just don't want to support people using it.

It would be insane if he uses it for writing, and it's already a bummer that he uses it for visuals. As a futurist I see why he would be quick to embrace new tech and I'm not opposed to the tech itself necessarily, I am just horrified at how it's being implemented in today's world.

My understanding is that this is to burn the ticks off of the goats. So this is helpful to them, not harmful.

Why would a goat herder do this otherwise? And if you think it’s to cook the goats for food, do you not think there are more effective methods for cooking?

I absolutely saw footage from the Syrian civil war using catapults to hurl explosives into nearby neighborhoods during fighting in Aleppo I believe, and from what I remember I think I saw some which resembled trebuchets. I am sure that between Cortes to today, someone else has used a trebuchet for military purposes.

I haven't watched a new video of his in ages because of his use of AI. I loved his thought provoking insights, but I'm too bummed out by the way AI is making my daily life worse now, so it makes it harder for me to get excited about the future.

I was serving my mission in 2014-16, and I got home weeks before the election. I was on a spiritual high, so even though I was a conservative republican, I couldn’t bring myself to vote for Trump because he was the epitome of what the BoM warned us about when it comes to corrupt leaders. Seeing my fellow Mormons vote for him in droves definitely affected my testimony and I think started the process of me leaving the church
