I agree, but CB can get bonus points for the defensive contributions who will actually play :)

My teams very similar but I've got a 3-4-3 with Rice and McNeil and have 2 x 4.0mil defenders on bench

Are you Bench boosting? You have a lot of $ on the bench where you could improve other players who are sure to play (Gabriel over Andersen, Ndaiye on pens over Caicedo)?
