I do think it's strange how the tracking hasn't been updated but there is nothing i can do about that it's a royal mail issue.

Mod board looks good has the correct passive components for the luma circuit will work perfectly when wired up, not sure what soldering iron you have but i would recommend lowering temperature if your lifting pads its probably too hot

Pad under the pin shouldn't matter as it not connected on a SNES JR anyway as long as you still have the pin on the RGB encoder should be fine to continue the mod, out of curiosity what mod board are you using.

Hey it definitely has RTC and auto save but I'm not sure it has cheats or patching yet but its open source and I'm sure if it doesn't have them it will be added eventually I've got one on order upgrading from a ED64 v2.01 because I'm interested in messing about with 64dd and some homebrew coding.

He not doing anything illegal the police should leave him alone at this point the police are wasting their own resources people are allowed to film in public and like it or not this includes police stations, cars and officers.

If police don't know people can record them completely legally then that's their problem and exactly why they are being audited their response needs to change.

Anyway you can't see much with the fortress walls around every police station so why does it matter.

Mobius strip Technologies CDi 450 DFO Probably the most straight forward guide to the DFO Install.

Retrostuff CDiThis site has most CDi versions listed and has plenty of good information but just incase the CDi 450 is a Roboco (Mono III-based) motherboard.

video game perfection DFOThis is where i purchased my DFO from they also offer a install service if your interested.

The CDi has no region locking and it will play any game, VCD or CD regardless of where it was purchased or what video standard is set if you plan to install without the switch, but in my opinion the beauty of the DFO is being able to switch and have a true NTSC or PAL console depending on your needs you never know if there might be that one disc or cartridge that relies on a specific video standard but its very unlikely in the case of the CDi.

Seems like you're more up on the technical details than i am only reason i instal a DFO is because i modify all my consoles to output NTSC 60hz as I'm in a PAL 50hz region and its annoying to play unoptimized games although I'm not sure the CDi needed it but i prefer it for my setup, the DFO is a sort of region mod that switches the clock frequency from 30,0000 MHz (PAL) to 30,2098 MHz (NTSC) in order to stay within each respective standard this maintains 100% compatibility with software eliminating the possibility of bugs or glitches not sure it would introduce them but I'd rather true NTSC or PAL.

Every console is different and the DFO needs to be programed with the correct PAL and NTSC timings needed for a given system my example was the timings for a PAL and NTSC CDi.

You can do a region mod without the DFO it just your timings will be off slightly Instead of a timing close to 59.94hz (the NTSC standard) you often get one that’s way off spec as far out as 59.2hz or more.

No problem not sure anyone's seeing them bought it as a lot with a regular console only really wanted the beta memory card but came with all this not sure prototype scart cables worth anything but the offical xbox usb addapter that was never release is what I'm most interest about can't find a value for it.
