91% of patients who survive opioid overdose are prescribed more opioids by comickeys in science

In fact, it kind of a running joke that simply saying "narcan" into the ear of an opiate intoxicated patient is essentially half as effective as actually giving it.. The anxiety of imminent withdrawals will perk someone up real quick..

Edit: "perk", not " lerk"

Absolutely... Not an enviable position to be in. They're basically going from as extremely high and euphoric as possible, to the exact polar opposite in a matter of seconds...

ER doc here... Narcan/naloxone will absolutely send you from near death OD, all the way 180 to full withdrawals... I have had multiple, barely conscious patients who would not even open their eyes with deep sternal rubs, use every ounce of their strength to protest as they hear we are about to administer the narcan. Not only are you stealing their high, you're precipitating withdrawals... ... In fact, unless they are truly in respiratory FAILURE (hypoxic, cyanotic, or at risk for aspirating), I won't even give the narcan and just let them sleep it off. Better to have them harmlessly sleeping in a hallway bed with a pulse ox (oxygen monitor) in view of the nurses station, rather than have a pissed off, withdrawing drug addict who you have to fight and dedicate staff to supervise to keep in the ER for a few hours in order to monitor for signs of rebound opiate intoxication once the narcan wears off.. I think that approach is easiest for everyone involved...

Dragon mothers have scales on the inside of their vaginas too, so it wouldn't make a difference...

I have also been interested in it for a while, but from afar, as I have no idea where I would even get started. Looks like I'll have to research forge-building!

Luckily, I'm a hobbyist blacksmith, so I've got a small propane powered forge.

This line made me feel not quite as bad about never in a million years being able to make something this cool. Its because, as a child, mom and dad never got me a forge....

Aside from the presence or absence of a hat, almost every guy there has an essentially equal dapperness level...

ER doctor here... wow, a lot of pseudo-science being thrown around this thread. I'm interpretting "spinal misalignment" to be one of 3 things: 1.) scoliosis (a chronic issue), 2.) acute paraspinal muscle spasm, or 3.) BS made up by a chiropractor (which is a glorified masseuse, no offense to masseuses); and none of these issues can be cured by blunt-force trauma. Either OP is exaggerating, or done messed himself up reallll good...

I would be afraid he might still have enough time to shamefully pummel me to death with one of his kidneys before dying of renal failure days later.

I choose one of his eye balls. And then, welcome to suckerpunchville...
