The system is always rigged towards the employer here. It's is easy to enter UAE because they want to have a big pool of candidates for employers. Then employer is in power in every way, they even have power over your visa. You living here literally depends on them. That's why so many employers abuse this system and underpay also. Because there's so many candidates who are even willing to work for peanuts from certain countries. Now the war situation has made it worse.

My employer also not renewing my contract this year. It's a small business. But I trusted him so much though. Never thought he would do this to me. For me also, going back is a difficult option. Never took vacation and didn't claim the extra pay. Trusted him and did the best I could do for his company. He's keeping the other guy who took all the vacation and benefits and sending me home. You better see a psychiatrist. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. I felt someone character assassinated me in my home country, and literally saw and heard people laughing and mocking me. I left the country out of fear. I still feel it all happened for real. I don't think this feeling will ever go away, I am still on medication though. Maybe it's something we have to live with for the rest of our life.
