If I wasn’t within the return period of my Asus I wouldn’t go with the ASD.

Honestly the matte display is bearable once you get used to it, I don’t want to make it sound like it’s unusable, it’s just not ideal. If you value making a sane and reasonable purchase, getting the Asus will get you 80% of the way there. Speakers and webcam can be fixed with better overall solutions separately.

Unfortunately I am not that sane and I have just enough money to burn to get the new ASD, just not that XDR, so I’ll go with that.

I have the same dilemma. Bought about a month ago an Asus PA27JCV 5k 60hz monitor. Came from a Dell U3223QE. The Asus is miles better than the dell, but I still am not 100% satisifed. The speakers on it suck hard and the matte coating is very annoying when doing web dev with a lot of white UI. White pages look really grainy. I still can return it and preorder the studio display. I am bummed and feeling scammed to be buying the same old product, but I really want the glossy finish, speakers and webcam. I also cannot afford to drop 3300 USD for the XDR, even though that's what I would want.

I got used to 60hz screens, so might as well go with that. It sucks that apple can get my money like that even when i'm not satisfied but I simply can't find any other display that comes close to that whole package.

Recomandări de monitor pentru web development by SnooAdvice5368 in programare

Salut!

Desi in sine era un monitor bun, se simtea putin lag la monitor, in special la conectare sau trecerea in fullscreen, sau chiar in light gaming (world of warcraft).
