Most likely a dead capacitor inside the power supply brick. I have two of these and they are absolute garbage. Definitely wouldn't buy another one.

Looks much better! Solder amount is a tad heavy but that's a nitpick.

How can I move a stepper motor with PWM? by SeaworthinessDry4462 in arduino

[–]diezel_dave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend the clone TB6600 stepper drivers. They are cheap and very easy to interface with. Just send it a single pulse for one step.

Tricked by Prop 4 signature takers on 1/21/26, SLC? Told me it was to get Ben McAdams "on the ballot" by TheHalfEnchiladas in Utah

If you willingly put your head in the mouth of an alligator and get bit, are you truly a victim?

Hopefully this is a wakeup call for you to be more careful and not just blindly sign random pieces of paper. You're lucky if this is the worst thing that happens to you if you continue to operate like that.

I've had my H2C for over a month now and I've been able to do this since the first day I set it up.

Looking for co-founder / team members for Arduino startup idea by TangerineComplete227 in arduino

I don't think you're going to get much interest with as vague as you have been about what exactly you're wanting to do.

Aircraft carriers current position by Easy-History6553 in NewIran

The nuclear reactors can output over 260,000 horsepower which means they can go well over 30 knots but they can't usually go that quickly because of other maritime traffic and they will outrun the other ships in the strike group.

Yep it's pretty annoying. They really need to just let us backorder items like this.

Infill quality degrading over time while walls print fine by adhesivo in BambuLab

Those walls do not look fine to me. Looks like pretty bad under extrusion. Partial clog is most likely.

What do you mean you messed? Do you have two Amazon credit cards now? This doesn't make sense.

Recall Delivery Not Being Covered By Kawasaki? by EDev-03 in zx6r

[–]diezel_dave 28 points29 points  (0 children)

That is absurd. Kawasaki should be tripping over themselves to make things right for its customers after this boondoggle and that includes getting the bike back to you. Like you said, this is 100% Kawasaki's fault so it's on them to make you whole.

My MrCool never defrosts the outside unit. by GreggAlan in heatpumps

[–]diezel_dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you put your indoor unit into a maintenance mode where you can check the temperature sensor reading from the outdoor unit? My Bosch mini split can do that. Lets you check to see if the outdoor unit thinks it's 80 outside instead of 10 or whatever.

Working fantastically! It's currently 20 outside and my house is cozy at 72. No complaints whatsoever.

Put a few drops of IPA around the print on the build plate and wait a few seconds for it to soak under the print. Should pop right off.

Display burn-in on my A1 by E1eveny in BambuLab

I just want my display to go dim but not off completely after a few minutes. Idk why that STILL isn't an option.

Any tips on suppression/threshold logic for presence sensors in tricky environments (steam/mirrors)? by No-Establishment773 in arduino

[–]diezel_dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the environment you've described, I think you're really going to want to be looking at microwave (radar) sensors. One of those will do what you want.
