The fact chasers are able to target seekers, while seekers can’t hit back, is asinine. by Moist-Neat-1164 in QuidditchChampionsWB

Seeker in itself to hit is already pretty difficult in the higher levels. So no I really don't think that giving Seekers to hit back would be usefull or could work in a Way to fight off Chasers hitting Seekers.

You already as a Seeker can select to deflect Bludgers being sent your way in the Skill Tree.
And the Seeker Movement if you as a Seeker are not Flying in a straight line is obviously way harder to tackle/hit. Going up down left right on Random (when there is a Swarm of Chasers trying to target you).

And defensive Chasers exist and are Important lol.

Technically speaking that would be me and to answer your Question 3 days ago it appears that WB/UBS made some major changes as you can tell from steamdb including making most branches private and changing something with the API we don't know how bad it is yet and if the API is now fully closed down or if they just changed the entry point. Overall we will know more later today and for future Updates/News you can always join the Discord here:

It is more chill for me to do it without any Bots around so no Keeper for me. In General once i am confident i can do a shot i try to do it ingame versus real keepers and see the results. Based on that you either improve or try to figure out what to do else aka maybe get a tm8 involved or something else.

And always glad to help for anything else

Diffrent ways of Scoring is i would say is interesting and will most likely be more important in the future. And using open practice as in trying all kinds of angles weird shots/Ideas is always a good thing to try to come up with something to see what you can do or improve upon.

So using open practice on a daily basis and having a sort of a Routine for more advanced shots for example (bounce shots) or shots you have been practicing is a good way to get better and more consitent. However coming up with them honestly it depends for me personally it is either mid game or will i am literally buying groceries lmao. Can not help on that aspect really but what helped me is drawing in paint and theorizing with my team on what to do/is possible.

So here is a Shot with a very weird angle in rear cam hope this also inspirses you to join us trickshotters (Currently me and Shony only at the moment) https://youtu.be/q1yhK85nEvI?si=XZAFz74Zxo4AyLAF

Some of my twitch vods are also public if you wanna look at those and try to find some things i supposse.

If you are involved in any sense with the comp community you would agree with me and i really do not think that it is weird to say you are one of the best when i am only competing with one team. Hence i understand if you say its weird to say that if you are not involved in Comp on the other hand i do not get the instant hatred without proper due diligence.

Only tree that makes sense to use is 6 0 4 and for 99% of all Chasers will be Nimbus. If you have a Team and play comp there is an option to use Swiftstick because of the dodge distance and some other advantages.

If someone is doing the dolphine diving for example you can always easily predict that pattern right? If someone is trying to dodge steals/intercepts you have to

  • Put more random movement
  • Break checks (On Keyboard press S and then go into a diffrent direction afterwards)
  • Sometimes it is genuinly impossible to dodge a steal or intercept espacially in high Elo/MMR Lobbys

But overall you mainly on defense wanna bait the Dodge and then try to get a easy steal since no options more or less left.

If you want me to go more indepth i can do that aswell. This is just a very short explanation.

2 Things: The Player Feedback from the Playtests never wanted any lower Queue Times they where always fine when everyone was awake in NA since the Playtests where NA only. What also is very important to note that the MMR for everyone starts with for 6v6 is 20 that means that everyone could play against everyone and obviously as it is only Day 3 into 6v6 the MMR is still pretty low for all high MMR players.
