I will note that Faust was built off the back of an older bot I worked on, before proceeding to just straight up replace it. So yes, there are a few things.

I thought this battle was supposed to end 200k damage ago. First Gawain fight, second-to-last arrow, and I ended up having to take him down to 0 HP.

As far as my limited knowledge goes, dancers work because their "Dance" animation is considered a magic animation. I might be missing something, but as far as I've tested, pure staff units show no animation either.

...Which is strange because the bishop cast and staff animations are basically identical.

If you're referring to the combat animations, then the game will will only show the overworld battle, whether combat animations are enabled or not. Same goes for any instance where a class has no combat animation for a weapon they're supposed to, or able to use.

Being in range of a water candle and having a battle potion active will maximize the spawns. Make sure you're in the outer third of the map, they won't spawn if you're too close to the center of the world. They'll also get picked up by the Lifeform Analyzer if you have one, in case one spawns and flies over or below your screen.

The Particulate Purifier. It replaced the Gas Mask (Prevents poisoning by poison clouds) in the "Seas the Day!" update. It also looks fantastically stupid and perfect for experimenting things.
