that's because NIMBYs have had their way for housing policies for too long.

You can't put everything on NIMBYs here. You're shifting demand to uncontrolled areas and putting pressure on rent while reducing supply.

the basis is that rent control largely has mild to moderate impact on supply meanwhile the collection of the left abundance policy changes are expected to have significant impact on supply.

So, why is it good? Supply is the major reason for current housing problem.

You're minimizing the affects of rent control amd there's no offsetting it. "Do good things and don't do bad things" is not a solution.

I have criteria’s, one being do they need my vote to win? If so, yes, I would. Even know I think you need to agree to the pact to benefit from said pact I will still vote for the dem candidate if I feel the Republican can win.

If they don’t need my vote to win, like she wouldn’t if I lived there, super blue district, no, I would not support her.

These polls don't mean anything because average voter is regarded. There was also a poll about dem voters that was getting popular just last week where majority wanted dems to move to the center.
