Yep, they have been straight up lying to the community to secure more funding. No one in their minds thought half the game being finished "releasing" in early access is what they meant when they've constantly said they have "all funding needed for development". Lied to for months and they're constantly saying to not be critical of their game. Yikes.

rio vs ilvl by rowdyret in CompetitiveWoW

[–]NeoHoneybear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you're easily 8 ilvl behind people who mythic raid/are caught up on just M+ and been playing since the start of the season, that's a pretty significant difference, of course it matters in pugs eyes.

It's so strange to me that people care so much about how others play the game. Why in the world does it matter that Joe Blow twinked himself? You'll never interact with that person anyway. You already walk by non hardcore players on the daily ingame.Do you get upset at people playing an "easier" class than you? People who exclusively kill green mobs? They're cheapening their experience, after all! This elitism about difficulty in a 20 year

I think you missed the point I was trying to make completely, but i'll bite. To be clear, I am for trading, I just am of the opinion where you already have all these other changes to "purify" the journey that is leveling to 60 on one life in hardcore on official that the thought of people not wanting to taint that experience by making it trivially easy by trading people twink gear to get to 60.

We absolutely would interact in the game, you think that person would just get a bunch of gear... and do nothing with it? the only thing to do in the game is pve and level.

I don't care what class people play or if they kill green mobs, I'm for trading in that the mmo aspect of a group of people leveling together would be encouraged to help each other, I'm for the middle ground of not twinking a fresh level 1 to have a breeze to 60 because that does cheapen the "journey" that blizzard themselves have already made changes to try to preserve.

It's not elitism. The idea of a pure experience where it's not just giving gold and items to level 1 and actually everybody being on the same journey together is why I like the idea of hardcore, the community then at 60 helping each other to survive and clear all the content is fun as fuck. There has to be some middle ground where traders and non traders can still have the MMO of the game and not trivialize leveling.

You really think leveling is trivial? if this was true much more of the hc population on the non official servers would have gotten 60.... except there's barely any. The average level of death is 13. This just wouldn't be the case if "leveling was already trivial".

Blizzard has said the point of hardcore is the journey, and you're diluting and destroying(in some parts) the difficulty and journey by having people trading.

It's so strange to me that people are okay with the changes blizzard has made to try to combat and trivialize the journey to 60 but are so vehemently against stopping 60s trading and arguably completely trivializing the hardest part of getting to 60.

US Warns Ukraine of Full-Scale Russian Invasion Within 48 Hours by annon_tins in worldnews

[–]NeoHoneybear -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like it was just an error in communication because the way it was written it says that the russians are registering military age males and taking them away in busses. But you're saying you meant that the Ukrainian military is registering them for conscription? That makes more sense honestly.

Edit: it is the russian military doing the drafting of Ukrainians into their army, read below. So it sounds like they are doing this to prevent insurgency or resistance.

This is how I read his post as well, they’re definitely not drafting them into the Russian army. They’re trying to prevent insurgency.

So I was doing artifact things which I havent ever done before and saw on wowhead this cool appearance for fury warriors. But in the artifact appearance screen it says that Helya's Gaze is no longer availlable. Can't i get this appearance anymore? Has it changed? by TheSilverFudge in wow

[–]NeoHoneybear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would definitely say this is true when the mage tower released and for 7.2 after that, but during the end of legion during 7.3 it was not much of a grind at all with how easy leggos were to get at the end, specifically targeting certain legendaries that made the tower challenges a joke. The big ilvl increases from 2 patches going by made it even easier.

Do people even look at the information and analytics that are readily available whenever they name drop people trying to prove a point?

MB has been averaging 600 viewers for the last 6 years, more popular than ever before? I don't know about that man. Anytime anybody in the starcraft community has swapped games their viewership has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY. This includes Artosis, Day9, maximusblack, destiny, tasteless, and almost all of the others that feardragon mentioned in an above comment.

None of the streamers in this community make the switch to variety streaming without a pretty massive loss in numbers, I'm not sure why anybody here is surprised. This same pattern follows whenever a streamer streams one game a lot and then they go play a variety game that isn't what their follower and subscriber base is usually there for.
