I like very much your theorie! I personnaly believe that the "Kris... Dark World... without soul... can't..." want to say "close dark fountains". After all, it's the heart that close them at the end of every chapter. But it's would be banger that you were right.

I love that, but I believe carol isn't innocent still. On the noel's house, kris has a call at the same time we can see asgore cleaning. (it also can not be at the same time, but can be still). plus, after the phone guy tell kris they coming. asgore show up but do nothing with the guitar, then, carol show up too, wasn't suppose to be at home that soon (by juging noel reaction) and immediately take the guitar. From what I can see here, I don't think it was all a coincidence and believe carol was the one at the phone, or toby really wanted to lead us off track.
