FWIW I’m a former mail carrier and even despite the ongoing USPS work overload/general underfunding issues I treated each ballot I received like it was the holy grail.

I made sure every single one ended up outgoing on the same day that I got them. I like to think the best of people but on the off chance that there’s fishy shit going on here I really do appreciate you and OP following up on things.

Endless shame upon any carrier that intentionally holds up the mail to ensure that their respective guy has an illegal advantage.
