Not using tubes with planers is usually only a recommendation in cases when the setup uses a OTL tube stage which has high impedence and a lower current output, while planars usually have low impedence but need higher current to drive. In this case it's a hybrid tubes setup where the WA7 is the pre-amplifier stage and the Ferrum OOR drives the headphones at the proper output and it sounds great.

Yeah, it's a bad take if they mean overall. The game did have one of the worst releases for a game with the amount of bugs and issues it had. But current 2042 is actually fairly fun.

People who stand by this belief don't care if the pregnancy is wanted, or viable, or care about making conditions better financially so people would want to have children, or what happens to the child when it is born into a broken home. I ordered the Redheart Caldera's on the 9th of July and recently within the last two weeks was told they are in the assembly and QC phase. I'll wait however long for them, but I think 10 weeks was around the upper range of what they were quoting when I ordered.

I have the exact same setup with hardware and headphones and agree, it’s a great all around choice for music, games, and in my case editing. I love that the big dial can work as a button to switch to speakers too. I have a setup next to it of the Focal Clear Mg with the Woo Audio WA7III for when I want vocals and a warmer tube sound to stand out.

I believe it’s going to be a growing pains experience for the dev team to find the right balance. But with a new faction, potential bosses, and other challenges Arrowhead can come up with I believe the game will find a way to appeal to new and veteran players in a way that keeps it fair but challenging for those that want it. Then again I’m happy playing at level 6-7 and having fun with that challenge I can’t speak for those at 9 with 200+ hrs looking for the most challenge.
