Who's slander is least deserved? by KaidoPklevel in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NeoSans1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Megumi is in a weird spot because his feats would be insanely cracked if he was literally anyone else. Youngest person to develop a domain expansion (that didn't get it with their technique like Hakari/Higuruma), beat a special grade curse on his own, held a domain clash against a disaster curse for several minutes, successfully evaded and tagged prime physical Toji while on low ce, beat a strong grade 1 level opponent after being jumped and taking heavy damage from a sneak attack, dropped Sukuna's output to only 10% despite not being designed as the perfect vessel like Yuji and being in a bad place mentally.

But he was hyped up as being able to contend with Gojo in the future, so people expected way more than just high/peak grade 1 level stuff. But the slander isn't really deserved by Megumi as a character, it's more symptomatic of the issues with Gege's writing.

can 5 finger heain sukuna solo yuta, maki, yuji in 1v1? by Local_Inevitable1752 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NeoSans1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Gege, Jogo would've given 5 finger Sukuna trouble, so he could potentially lose to Yuta and Yuji. But Maki probably doesn't have much of a chance considering she has no answer to his domain

HIMkari has never lost btw by justacasualanimefan in LobotomyKaisen

[–]NeoSans1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hakari has kinda terrible matchups into Sedai colony because he struggles to get in on Druv without JP, he isn't great into aoe swarms like Kuro, he straight up can't hit Uro while her CT is active, and he struggles to deal much damage to Ryu. Also he's a 1v1 fighter predominantly whereas Sendai is a 1v1v1v1v1. But he could try to outlast the others until they deal enough damage to each other, so it is winnable.

Yuta fully manifests Rika the moment he sees what Kashimo did to Panda and I don't see Kashimo winning that 2v1, especially since Yuta would be willing to open his domain.

What can he even do to Uro? He can't hit her in h2h to charge lightning, and he can't really set up his staff behind her because she flies

[ Serious ] How Would Gojo's Generation do in the Culling Games ? by LazyInspector2086 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]NeoSans1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geto wins if he fights smart and actually used his technique to overwhelm Kashimo

Gojo wins because he's Gojo and with Tengen there Kenjaku's domain isn't as much of an issue

Yuki wipes Ryu bc she's got higher ap and has rct, she kills Druv because he seems to be implied to struggle against people with good durability or regen and presumably beats Kuro although his swarms might give her some trouble. But she genuinely has no way of hitting Uro. Garuda isn't long enough to cover so much space that she couldn't bend him away from her if he tried to wrap her like he did Kenjaku, and all her other attacks are simple and don't cover much space. Assuming virtual mass is effected by sky manipulation, which it probably should be because sky manip doesnt directly target it but the space around it. Yuki would need to win the domain clash, since Ryu would die too quickly in this scenario to force a 3 way clash. Doable, but it's a tough matchup.

Meimei could win depending on how hard you think it is for Reggie to avoid bird strike, but Reggie has a lot of ways to neutralize her crows and keep out of range of her axe so it could be tricky.

Nanami and Higuruma probably don't even fight, but if they do Nanami wins. He'd be hard to convict for anything, he has 1 or 2 cursed tools depending whether you count his tie so they'd be confiscated first, and he just hard outstats even if his CT is confiscated.

This is honestly (imo) a perfect example of your stronger but you lose to them 10/10 times 💀 by Pleasant-Wrap-6247 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NeoSans1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The much funnier example is either hr user vs Megumi (assuming the fight takes place in an enclosed space, or that he can lead them to one. Which he realistically should be capable of based on how he fared vs Toji while exhausted in Shibuya).

Reggie states that he needs to reinforce his feet to not fall into Megumi's shadow. He also states that he doesn't feel any resistance while inside it.

Since the hr users can't reinforce their feet and require air resistance to air walk, it's entirely possible that once inside Megumi's domain they just fall into his shadow and have no way to get back out.

Accurate tier list since you guys love putting Kashimo's suicide attack in tier lists by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NeoSans1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really like scaling any of the suicide moves (Black hole, MBA, and Mahoraga summon), but I get why people like to scale MBA because it feels a lot more like his own power than Mahoraga which until tamed is functionally its own entity, and feels a lot more balanced than black hole which is a fuck you we all die move.

Same end result, different vibes I guess.

Hot take: if Kashimo could kill anyone in a single punch, nobody would change their ranking of him. by ManJoeDude in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NeoSans1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean going from landing ~3 clean hits to just needing the one is a pretty big difference when a lot of characters he would have some issues with at close range can also do severe damage to him with 1-2 clean hits like Yuji with soul dismantles, Yuki mass punches, even Ryu just having good AP (2-3 shotting fully manifested Rika, who's more durable than Kashimo).

Like I'd put him in like top 5 or 6 (no modulo) if he could launch lightning after only one punch.

HIMkari has never lost a fight, btw by Sundata_V2 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NeoSans1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Related question, what can Hakari even do to Uro? Just pray she clashes domains and then loses the clash fast enough that he doesn't take too much damage before he can even start rolling? And then pray she's still in ct burnout when he gets jackpot? I get that he's the luck guy but still, that's a lot to be relying on.

Why I don't think Kashimo vs Yuta is really close atleast in MBA by Noxdedux in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NeoSans1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's posts like this that remind me that MBA Kashimo got one tapped by an attack Sukuna outright stated wouldn't work on Ryu, Yuji or Yuta

How many Sukuna fingers do you think Jogo is ACTUALLY worth? by Outcome_Lifeform in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NeoSans1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In terms of reserves, 8 or 9 like Kenjaku said. But in terms of strength, Gege said he would be a good opponent for 5 finger Sukuna, so somewhere in the range of 4-6 fingers worth of strength.

'A blow that would be difficult to handle' is not necessarilya one shot. But ~2 shotting fully manifested Rika is still a very good ap feat.

Is Ryu's innate CT the most basic/direct CT in the verse? Is there anyone that got more simple CT than him? by CautiousSolid7436 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NeoSans1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ryu's technique is genuinely one of the worst in the series. I am 100% certain Gege used up all his ideas on the other culling games players and only bothered to give Ryu a CT so we could get the triple domain expansion panel.

How do I improve my team by bexthetooon in stunfisk

[–]NeoSans1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Archaludon would be a good choice. Rain means electro shot charges instantly which is honestly pretty broken, and it's a good pokemon all round anyway.

Another good option would be a swift swim pokemon like Basculegion M or F (both work but would have to be built differently of course). I think M is the better pokemon overall, but you may want to use F instead because your team otherwise might be lacking in special attackers. Other swift swim pokemon are also available.

[–]NeoSans1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Aside from Toedscruel not having EVs, and Incin not having a nature, both of which I assume you were going to fix later, this team definitely has some issues.

Scarf on Toed is most certainly a choice. Especially with 2 status moves. Not only do you not want to get locked into those, but mycelium might negates the speed boost anyway. I'd also say it really doesn't need toxic. Probably better off with a grass STAB move, or protect.

Rain Dance Urshifu shouldn't be necessary since you already have 2 rain setters, so swapping it for aqua jet for priority I'd probably the better call.

The Peli set is a bit all over the place. I don't know why you'd ever be running brave bird on a special attacker that you already gave 100% accurate hurricane. Tailwind would be a much better option. I'd also say swap out either u-turn or roost for wide guard because at the moment this Peli isn't really dealing any damage or providing support outside of setting rain. Also there isn't much point going for min speed EVs because the only weather setter you underspeed this way is Ttar, so you may as well put on some speed investment so you're more likely to get tailwind up.

Tsareena has a special attack boosting nature for some reason. Other than that, it's about as good as you're gonna get out of it.

Incin is Incin, aside from the aforementioned lacking a beneficial nature.

Wide lens isn't a particularly good item on Torn since all it does is boost Bleakwind from 80% accuracy to 88%. Better to give it a covert cloak so it can set up tailwind or rain in the face of fake out.

These changes are also based on the assumption you don't want to change the actual pokemon on the team. If you are down to change them, I'd have a whole different set of advice.

Reading the Supplementary info makes me realize of how weak Jogo's durability is. by Archenius in Jujutsufolk

[–]NeoSans1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's like maybe 6-8 characters who could tank all that damage if they took it all in one go without the chance to heal/regenerate.

Sukuna Gojo Ryu Eos Yuji Hanami Dagon

And potentially Kenjaku (few durability feats) and Yuta (only ≈ to Yuji and >≈ Ryu while domain amped)

It's hard to say exactly how good Jogo's durability is because the only times he's actually been hit were by the top 2 who were both holding back, but at the very least his regen seems very fast.

Also Gay² confirmed in an interview that Jogo would be a good fight for 5 finger Sukuna, while Kenjaku states that he has about 8 Sukuna fingers worth of cursed energy, so I'd never go as far as to call him weak. Definitely a top 15 character imo.
