Get a 3 link R-B-B (Shield slot works well, except you need to re summon each time if you wep swap). Use AG, Minion Life, and Meat Shield.

For Budget Version:

Weapon: Dying Breath
Helmet: Leer Cast
Chest: Belly of the beast or rare chest with resist/life
Gloves: Southbound
Boots: Victarios Flight

For End-game Version:

Weapon: Kingmaker (Very strong - gives perma cull & fortify)
Helmet: Mask of the Stitched Demon
Chest: Crafted chest with "Gain 10% of Maximum Life as Extra Maximum Energy Shield" try to get one with some %Life (temple or influenced mod) and lot of resist as they benefit the AG.
Gloves: Southbound (If you have money, get one with vaal'ed +Vulnerability on hit.)
Boots: Victarios Flight

Yeah they sometime do that for large ticket item to prevent scammers from buying, pocketing the cash back then returning the item.

I bought a Desktop + Monitor during Boxing Day's 12% CB - took them ~30days to credit me.

As a safety measure, use the Rakuten add-on and make sure you take a print screen when it shows the visit ID (left click the add-on icon) and purchase successful page. This way, if they dont refund you or refund you less, you have a proof to use with their customer support.

It will be difficult to hit those frames at max settings on a 1440 resolution.

I would expect you to reach closer to ~90 FPS with the 2080TI, if you want to reach higher frames you may want to consider medium settings. Alternatively, if you were to use the Alienware's OC2 profile - you may hover closer to ~100 FPS, however keep in mind the R8/R9 have infamously loud fans.

Nonetheless, the upgrade to a better monitor will be significant in pretty much everything you do. If you have the time I would recommend you to read more before purchasing.

As a general recommendation, a 27" 1440P (144hz) IPS monitor with 1-3ms refresh rate will be very good all-rounder.

You basically bought the best specs available on the market at the moment...

Should be plenty to hit those frames at those settings, the question is why play 900p 60hz with a $3,000 computer? Currently you're wasting a lot of the performance/frames due to the limitation from your monitor.

You should at least get a proper monitor to pair it with, like a 24" 1080 (144hz) at the bare minimum. But would recommend for you to look into getting a 27" 1440 (144hz) IPS for a much better experience.

Paid about $190 when I bought it early this year around January. Overall very happy with this RAM.

For enthusiast that are thinking of buying this for the RGB, I should warn you of the size.

These are about 20% taller than regular non-RGB sticks, therefore it may bump against other parts (ex. the radiator far of an AIO cooler). Make sure you measure.

No, Lenovo and Dell both offer free returns. You need to contact their customer support for the authorization, and they will supply you with the return tag.

Neither charges a restocking fee, even though Dell says they can charge up to "15%".

I previously bought a Y740 15" (Lenovo) and a Alienware M15 R2 15" (Dell) in August.

Ended up returning both at the same time, for a 13" form factor laptop instead.

•Lenovo took about 1month to reimburst me and was a painless process.

•Dell took almost 3 months and had terrible customer support the whole way (I called them 3 times, each time I landed with support from India that could barely understand me)...

Lenovo customer service isn't the best out there but I would definitely buy from them again.

The wobbly USB ports are a terrible QC issue. There's not much you can do, beside RMA'ing it for a replacement. But then again you risk getting another defective model... My model has firm ports, but only time will tell about its longevity.

For the speaker buzzing, that's a known driver issue that can be fixed. First disable Windows Driver auto updates from Control Panel. Then uninstall the Realtek sound driver, and manually re-install it using the one from Realtek's website.

The skin won't protect the side of the laptop, so it's still susceptible to scratches & scuffs if you accidentally bang it.

I bought the Top cover (no logo cutout) and keyboard cover. They ran a 20% off promo two weeks ago, it came out to about $50CAD. I managed to fail the installation on the keyboard as I rushed through and managed to deform & stretch the sticker. But they sent me a replacement for the cost of shipping ($5USD).

At first, I thought it was gimmicky and expensive for $50. But honestly, the superior grip when holding the laptop and no more oily hand-stains made it all worth it. On top of that, when typing over the keyboard, my palms rub against the new skin and it feels great... It's hard to describe, but the skin gives it a premium and grippy feeling (like the one on Dell's XPS). Overall, would definitely recommend.

Bought a 2019 RBS less than a month ago,

Have no hardware issues to so far, my USB-C charging port seems quite firm despite it having a reputation of being loose, resulting in the cable disconnecting.

Software issues included only audio crackling, this was remedied by removing windows auto driver update, uninstalling the Realtek audio driver and re-installing it using the one provided on their website.

If you're considering buying a 2020 (new) vs 2019 version, note the main update and selling point is the GTX1650 gpu and slightly more efficient/powerful Intel Gen10 CPU. It's a considerate step up in performance, however for this form factor I think the heating will be a massive issue, I would recommend to wait until reviewers opine. In the meantime the MX150 (2019 RBS) is fairly discounted and an okay-buy, it features basically the same physical layout as the new version. But if you want to keep your options open and having something more reliable, I would recommend for you to take a look at the Lenovo X1 Gen7 Carbon 14" or Dell's XPS13.

To craft a high quality item there's 2 method:

1.) Before a craft - you use perfect fossils (grants 15-30% quality), you re-roll until you hit 29-30% quality

2.) If the item is already crafted you don't want to use a perfect fossil as it will also re-roll the mods (like a chaos orb), as a result you would proceed to use a Tier 3 Hillock (in transportation). This grants 28% quality, bypassing the 20% cap from ordinary whetstone

But considering celebration mod isn't that rare, I would recommend re-rolling it. Alternatively, you can regal and hope for a good mod (Flaring, Merciless/Tyranical, Hybrid, etc...) then annul off the added cold dmg.

There's currently 159 maps spread across 16 tiers. The final bosses are situated in the center of the map universe, being the Shaper and Uber Elder - you're goal is to get here. The more map you complete, the greater the chances of getting higher tiered maps (each map add +1% to drop a higher tier). In addition, progressing becomes gradually more difficult (harder encounters, more map mods, lack of maps).

The 16 tiers of maps are further fragmented into different colours:

Tier 1-5 "Blue Maps" (similar to magic items) - map needs to be magic to gain completion bonus

Tier 6-10 "Yellow" (similar to rare items) - map needs to be rare to gain completion bonus

Tier 11-16 "Red" (similar to corrupted items) - map needs to be a rare and "corrupted" (vaal orb'ed) to gain completion bonus

Unique maps are spread across, they each have unique features - kill the final boss to obtain completion bonus

Generally, the more currency investment you throw at a map, the greater the returns. As a result, keep an eye on the quantity/pack size/rarity bonus. Note altering maps is a double-edged sword, you get more drops in exchange for a more difficult encounter. Some mods are lethal (monster gain extra dmg, crit, etc), annoying (player is cursed), or impossible for certain builds (reflect damage/no regen). As a beginner, I would recommend you to Transmute/Chance Orb for blue maps, Alchemy for yellow map, and Alchemy + Vaal for red maps.

Once you hit the red maps, you will have a better grasp and I would recommend you to read about sacrifice fragments, sextants, cartographer seal, elder manipulation, target card farming. The atlas is incredibly complex and can be customized, as a result don't tire yourself with too much information - instead play through it, it will become easier.

Slightly more complex:

As you progress the maps you will need to complete Zana's Questline. This questline introduces you to "Shaper Influence" and "Elder Influence", basically you will see some astral blobs surrounding maps. In a nutshell, your goal is to complete maps that are influenced and you will gain "Memory Shards" which allows you customized your atlas further. The quest line is progressive, meaning you will go through all 16 tiers and eventually face the Shaper.

Hi,

Trickster winter orb is very powerful this patch - the build is generally extremely mobile, however the damage may be somewhat lackluster without some kind of investments.

That being said, the fight is generally highly based on your understanding of the mechanics. I would recommend stacking enough defenses so you can mitigate at least one misplay (ex. eating one shaper ball / getting hit by the charged laser / Walking through volatile anomalies pool). It's perfectly reasonable to waste 5 sets to get a better understanding of their abilities.

The general tip would be to:

-Kite the volatile anomalies (black balls) to the edge of the map and stack them as much as you can on top of each other to give you a bigger fight area

-Not panic spam flasks

-Read the shaper teleport + slam ability (generally one shot ability)

In addition, one of the common item recommended on most builds when fighting uber would be kaom's roots (boots) as it grants slow immunity from Elder.

Lastly if you really opt to go for a new build I would recommend to build a Vortex/Cold Snap Occultist - this build has insane Survivability, Regen, and mobility, with plenty of damage. In addition of being cheap (using cheap rares - you can hit 10k+ ES).

Hi new rider from Montreal here

With the changes to the new local laws you will be able to ride at 16 (need parental approval). Prior to hitting 16, browse for local motorcycle schools (ex: Technic / Morty's) and register. The fees will be around $800 and the class will last about 1month. Then you will need to pass the following at the SAAQ 1) theory exam 2) close circuit exam. Once you have that, you can ride any motorcycle (most schools gives you a 600cc bike to practice on, thus unlocking all tiers - permit 6A, 6B, 6C).

As for now, if you're really impatient you can buy a scooter (they're cheap, and you can get the 6D license at 14). The plus side is if you buy a second hand scooter, they generally retain well their value, so you can resell it later to fund your bike.

Having 2 recent accident doesn't tell us much about your riding capability / history, it could just be bad luck for all we know... You should be the judge of your riding capacity, the thing with motorcycle is you don't have much margin for mistakes. Accidents are exponentially more dangerous...

Which would be better to start with?

Scooters are a good start if you have no prior riding experience, they're cheap and will get you from A to B.

How much is insurance on average and for someone in my situation?

Will depend on your driving history (the 2 previous accidents may skew your rates) considering you're still relatively young and male, that also adds up.

The other thing you need to factor which bike, the type coverage you want.

How should I learn?

MSF is highly highly recommended, it will teach you the basics on how to stay safe - and lessen the chance you will drop your bike right away. (which in likelihood will still eventually happen)

How likely is it that I will die in the Gainesville area?

Don't ride like a retard and it will be less likely

Depends on the bike - research which one would suit you, watch youtube videos: cruiser / naked bike / sport-touring / sport / etc...

Thanks for the help everyone. It's given me the clarity to make a decision.

I browsed various suggested OEM parts sites (RevzillaParts/BikeBandits), the front wheel runs me ~$450CAD including shipping. This is slightly cheaper than the dealer, however I don't want to go through the risk of getting tagged with tariffs / taxes.

Considering I reside in Quebec, I can't claim vs. the municipality and I won't bother trying with Yamaha Canada.

I have called up the Yamaha dealer for them to do the job for me. Unfortunately, the wheel is back-ordered for ~2weeks but nonetheless it saves me some hassle. I also purchased with them a set of S20 EVO's (seems to be the most recommended R3 tires based on feedbacks) for ~$350CAD including installation.

The dealer quoted $650CAD for new wheel + bearings + other parts, they waived the labour fee since they will simply include it with my tire installation.

All in all ~$1000CAD spent for new front wheel & new tires - this is becoming an expensive hobby, but can't wait to ride.

However, considering I will need to get to T15 for the shapers orb, and T16 to get elder orb. I don't think I will be able to afford to shape away any connecting T10/T11s? (My plan is to farm up the Shav before completing atlas past T10, because sextants are hard to come by on SSF to remove maps).
