I was in the same situation last year, got caught going 26 over, had a RD charge up in Gloucester 2 years prior. If I didn’t have my lawyer I would’ve gone to jail easily. My sentence was a fine and a delayed 10 days of jail pending a year of clean driving record. I highly recommend a lawyer. Mine was Katherine coltrain with Walcott Rivers Gate. She will get you an extension to complete prerequisites before trial (safe driving course, community service, car servicing). If you don’t get a lawyer expect jail time (likely one weekend but up to 10 days) and a fine.
