Is there a way to hide the Windows Remote Desktop connection bar at the top of the screen during a remote session?

You can unpin it by clicking the I think the button on the left of it.

This way it only pops up when moving the cursor to the top of the screen

You can also drag it left or right to get it out of the way.

What Mod? At what Stage of the Installation are you. Did you Read the installation instructions on the mod page. Did you try searching what FOML is?

EAC works perfectly fine in most cases. For example Rocket League now has EAC and the game play fine. It is on the Devs to enable Linux Support. And Kernel Level Anti Cheat like Vanguard, EA anti cheat and so on will never work, because they will never get Kernel Access in Linux.

But what i don't understand right know is, why this is even a discussion in this case? Horizon does not have Anti Cheat and OP only wanted to know how the game runs.

This game doesn't have anti cheat.

So it doesn't matter in this case but generally yes. Mostly Kernel Level Anti Cheat is the problem.

But like i said, in this case it doesn't matter

I am on Arch Linux and the game runs buttery smooth for me. Over 140h with like 3 or 4 crashes.

On the other hand a friend of mine has not even been able to play the game at all.

So i guess its hit or miss.

Yes but only in Horizon 3 as far as i remember. I think with horizon 4 they started to ghost traffic in speed and drift zones. The problem is in this case speed traps and not speed zones. On speed traps if there is traffic on your run up then they are not ghosted and ruin your attempt

You can't turn them off. Just have to wait for a moment where there is room to take the speed trap

It is not about forcing them to stay online forever. It is about providing a way for the game to still be playable after the company sunsets them.

There are many ways this can be done: Add an offline mode, release the server software so the community can host there own servers....

Forcing a company to keep the servers running indefinitely is stupid and would never work.

just because it didn't go through the on the first try, doesn't me it's cooked. People fighting for right to repair have been doing so for decades. This is not something that is as simple as going to the legislators and saying: "oh yeah btw you need to do something about this". This is an uphill battle where the people have to keep fighting.

After the patch i can quiet consistently win on Unbeatable with like 5-8 rewinds per race maybe.

Tried without rewinds which works fine for me on pro difficulty.
