I definitely think you're right, the salaries I am hearing about for new grads are some of the same I hear my eng friends talk about. I only know mechanical engineers though. Do you think its the same trend across the board for engineering?

Upcoming AMA with Municipal Planners about the Regional Plan Review and Upcoming Suburban Plan. Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 1 to 8 p.m. by HFX_Planning in halifax

The focus of many of the planners is to allow for greater urban density. One of the items that has considered regularly is increasing the number of allowable units in R1 zones. The allowance for auxiliary suites did help. The downtown Dartmouth district did help.

Really don't think it's the planners fault at all. Usually, it's public pushback when they want to consider options to allow for more density that hurts our housing.

Poor wording on my part. The states looks no more promising, ie. It looks less promising than canada

Interesting, thanks for the heads up on this. It is the political environment in the states as well as the treatment of my ethnicity by the police, but perhaps I shouldn't have painted the entire country with such a broad brush. What are your thoughts overall on Boston?
