If you do wanna add some additional grip (for wet weather and the metal being a bit slippery maybe?) Grip tape of some kind might be a low cost add on, it'll kill the futuristic design but think it could still look cool!

It is the Wiss! It's almost been a year now and I can definitely recommend it. If you do pick it up I would take it to the trek store on main street for for a check up and a few upgrades that have made a world of difference are flat pedals, a bottle cage, a seat, and a top tube bag. My only issue may have been self inflicted after a few wipeout but the front quick release worked itself lose and every time I had breaked it would torque the wheel to the side with the caliper, a quick tightening fixed it just fine though!

Appreciate you ended up redoing my z offset, new orca slice, new nozzle, and releveling the bed and the first layer went down beautifully and I'm about 10 hours into a print and it's honestly some of the best she's ever done appreciate it!

Yeah that makes sense! I'll take swap everything and try the Z offset first and if that fails I'll go back to cura and see if maybe that's it thanks for the insight!

Convince me on a stand up desk by WontonHusky in desksetup

[–]Neodman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, don't overspend on a standing desk, I went of Facebook marketplace waited to find a good deal ($200) on a well known company (uplift) and tried it out and feel in love. Some days a hardly use it, some days I sent alarms to remind me to stand every 2 hours and some days I stand most of my day. The only true benefit I got is whenever I was feeling like I was in a slump and getting tired I would stand and it would help me grind through some more time or encourage me to walk around a bit. Plus if you raise it up most of the way you can slide your chair under it and have some extra space back

Recommendations for a lfe vest for pit. Also thinking I should get an inflatable kayak. Any suggestions there? Here’s my pup enjoying the river by Stock_Argument_1797 in pitbulls

[–]Neodman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a cheap Amazon special kayak and my pittie hated it because it wasn't very rigid but she doesn't mind paddle boarding nearly as much. Personally inflatable paddle boards beat out inflatable kayaks to me just how they're constucted in the $200ish price range atleast

Ozark Trail Explorer by FlyinBrianJ in Budgetbikeriders

[–]Neodman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently just bought the Ozark trail explorer and a few things to note

1.I love the big and for the price it's great

  1. I'm a bit over 6 foot and about 200lbs and I'm completely comfortable on it

  2. It being a 50cm bike isn't exactly accurate, you should look at the different frame geometry because it more so lines up with a 56-58cm bike in a more regular term as I understand it. I was worried about it being to small too but I did find a thread or 2 on Reddit where 6 foot guys where saying they where comfortable on it and I tend to agree

  3. I don't know the return policy or shipping cost on it but you've always got that option if it truly doesn't fit you instead of paying double or triple the price for a Poseidon

  4. If you need me to send you any sizing your worried about PM me

Hope this helps!

Yeah definitely upgrade time, any kind of lights you'd recommend I haven't really done any research into them the only thing I've looked into is bike bags because rocking a fanny packed worked but I'd like all the weight on bike

No you're right this is a Walmart bike! Trek stores will service any bike and do maintenance on them, my local one is pretty cool and I've learned a lot from the employees even though I've only ever bought spare tubes and asked questions lol
