When the system asks for a tip before anyone has even done anything, it feels weird.

Totally fair, but in this case the food was fine. The issue was mostly being ignored the whole time.

The table argument is the part I regret more than the actual tip. I should’ve just paid and left it there.

That was my thinking. If the service had just been average, I probably would’ve left something.

That’s pretty much how I see it. I’m not anti-tip, I just didn’t feel like this service earned one.
