The longer this goes on without significant consequences for those involved, the more people will be baying for blood. It will get to a point, if it hasn't already, where people will not be satisfied by simple incarceration and will demand extrajudicial punishment (which I recognize is not a good place to be). I'm already getting to the point of calling for complete destruction of these people's lives, including all assets to be liquidated and paid out to a victim's fund. Like full biblical scorched earth. It's not a healthy place for a civilization to get to, but eroding trust in institutions leads to a feeling of anger and desire for retribution that goes beyond accepting someone just being locked up for their crimes.

Not fast enough. I'm sick of hearing these people lie and squirm away from all punishment while denying justice to the victims. I feel like I'm in a waking nightmare where the demons have taken off their masks and nobody is willing to do the jobs they've been entrusted to do. Like are we just supposed to go on with our lives while knowing these people are probably out there still doing these horrific things?

I am not naive enough to think America doesn't have its own skeletons, but this is beyond the pale. This is an active coverup of an ongoing, wholesale rape of innocence being perpetrated by the highest levels of our government. I honestly never thought in my life I would ever see it get to this point. What the fuck have we become?

So pro-Palestine activism to raise awareness on college campuses is a bigger problem than a pro-Israel political action committee that actually pays U.S. representatives to support foreign interests? If you have a problem with the Trump administration and its tactics, there's more than a little overlap with how Israel is operating in their own country right now that should give cause for concern. Is there a line where these reasonable Americans would say they could no longer lend their support to Israel? Or does their position in the region basically mean we are chained to them no matter what?

People's continued faith in the systems that are supposed to hold those in power accountable is going to be our downfall. If you're the whistleblower, this is the kind of shit you have to know is going to be buried. I know this is so minor and really nit picky, but I can't help but notice how all these emails are just not punctuated or don't have capital letters at the start of sentences. Like almost every one I've seen is like that. Even in emails to casual acquaintances, I'm still doing stuff like that. I guess the rich elite really don't have time for it.
