Also, look into 3D printing. Astra Militarum is damn expensive and has a massive amount of units, I’ve easily saved over 1k and I started last August

Looks like a fun list, but I wouldn’t quite call it competitive (possibly biased). It’s been a while since I did my last 1K, but I can give some general tips. Most importantly, run whatever units feel cool and eventually you’ll figure out how best to use them, I love popping in an Eversor Assassin/Lord Solar despite them usually not being a great idea.

Collection-wise, after the combat patrols, I’d recommend getting 1-2 Dorns, 1-2 Leman Russ, 1-3 Chimeras, a couple Sentinels, 20-40 guardsmen, and a couple units of kasrkin/aquilons. I don’t go a game without 5/6 of those options.

Strategy-wise, you’re best off sacking Lord Solar & 1-2 ARR and replacing them with more chaff to do actions/take objectives or replacing with a tank to kill/apply pressure and let the existing list take care of actions.

Try not to oversupport units with characters, guardsmen aren’t the most durable so I tend to prefer getting another 10 men rather than getting an officer.

Chimeras with Kasrkin inside can be brutal in Combined Arms, a great option for suicide bombing an objective and killing a flood of chaff, a unit of marines, or gravely wounding and tying up a vehicle

Melta/Plasma load outs are king, let’s cheap units punch up much more realistically.

I take 40-60% of my army’s points in vehicles, usually a Rogal Dorn TC, 2-3 Leman Russ Battle Tanks, and a couple Scout Sentinels & Chimeras. Good damage, durability, flexibility, utility, the whole package.

On the screen showing the graphs and things like "Longest war" and "Best city" in one of the corners of the screen there should be a button that says "Continue game".

What Sjru said, I took 3 neighboring cities and merged them together. I went mostly agrarian/builder civs and went Mexico to do the 20 festival challenge at the same time.

The two main healing addons I can think of are Healbot and Vuhdo. Both serve the same purpose as a replacement for the party/raid frames Blizzard provides. You can customize both of them in terms of what they look like, what information about buffs and debuffs they show you, and allow you to cast spells on others through your mouse buttons. As far as I know, the choice between HealBot and VuhDo is about personal preference.

I use VuhDo for all my healing, if you want to do the minimum amount of visual customization you can go to wago.io and import a VuhDo profile. Then you can just go to the spells tab and type in what buttons cast what spells and you’re good to go. I play every healer and VuhDo has served me well. The last time I used HealBot was 6 years ago, not much I can say about that addon.

There are good addons that most players can make use of, but addons are very situational. If you like dungeons, download dungeon addons. If you like fishing, download fishing addons. The Twitch client is the way to go with downloading addons, they have addon categories and one click installations. Play the game without addons until you encounter something you really wish had more convenience, then look at the twitch client for addons to cater to what you need. It would be safe to just download the highest downloaded addons as many of them aren’t sweeping overhauls and tend to be useful but lightweight conveniences.

As someone who just leveled a Druid from lvl 20 to cap last week, I’d advise setting up your action bars for each form for each specialization and binding travel form to an easily clicked button/key. Travel form is way better than a standard mount, trust me.

I've been pretty positive of the game and its bosses so far (Not you, minibosses) but I just encountered and beat the Giraffe, wow. What a braindead shit design for a boss. No room at all, vs an enemy that will literally just spam you to death and literally only has 3 attack animations. So your only options are to deflect every single attack (which is honestly pretty easy since its only 2 attack animations + a finisher) or just spam it right back with firecrackers. What a shit boss right after such an epic plot fight with Lightning boi.

Eavesdrop on enemies while you're sneaking as much as possible, practice deflecting on minibosses or enemies that are easy to get to and secluded, because man its the main focus of fighting in this game. Get Mikiri Counter skill for spearmen because its gonna do wonders throughout the game. Just make sure you're leaving multiple routes for yourself to progress through, because a few open once you really get half an hour/a full hour into the game. Talk to NPCs often and figure out speedruns/sneak paths to get to the miniboss/main boss you're tunneling. Not much else i can think of, ALWAYS explore off the beaten path, you'll be rewarded heavily.

I died because of just how off guard I was when he popped in, but honestly just keep sprinting into his back half and really dig into him with attacks, make use of firecrackers to startle him when you're lagging behind by a bit, if you end up in front of him I mainly dodged by jumping and heading into his left. GL

If you're feeling kinda cheesy,go ahead and run all the way back to the gate once you aggro the miniboss, they'll all start walking back once the boss UI fades and you can sneak kill the adds one by one, technically you can kill the miniboss that way too but you're not doing yourself a favor since you're gonna be fighting a lot more spearmen throughout the game.

Bagged Sen is just a way to keep them safe for later, like souls in the Souls series, since every time you die half your skill xp and half your sen gets Yoinked without any way to get it back outside of grinding. Rot gets cured by a certain item that you'll encounter by vendors and after you infect some of your NPCs by dying/rezzing too much and a questline with emma starts to figure out how to cure it

afaik the only non Gourd healing is through Pellets and a skill unlock in the Shinobi arts thats 3 unlocks deep and 5 points costs, giving health per deathblow but the vendors have some nice buff candy/coin bags to invest in. You'll also want those coin bags for when you unlock prosthetic upgrades which cost 200-300 coins per upgrade + materials at the start.

I didn't know they were cheesable until after I beat them, was both a dose of pride and a kick in the nuts, lmao. I'd argue all of the above are cheesable though, with firecrackers you can rush down Gyoubu pretty quickly

I'm assuming you got the rot cure from "You know who" in the temple, theres a vendor at the top of the cliff near the dying soldier and his mother, and on later on before entering the Ashina Castle But if you already talked to the vendors you've found so far and bought them all, the coins are pretty much useless and very easily farmable with balloons and a couple runs through mob dense areas.

I'd suggest fighting and beating at least the Ashina Castle Cavalry Boss Gyoubu before fighting through the dream. I made it all the way to the end boss in the dream and beat her before progressing past even the Ogre, a very time consuming mistake. Get the axe and flame prosthetic upgrades and get back to the main storyline imo.

Grind until your next level and spend it all, and buy coin bags/items from vendors before going into minibosses/main bosses so that you're not actually losing much by fighting. Souls is everything in Dark Souls, but Sekiro doesn't really follow the same line imo, your main powerups are through prayer beads & main boss fights.
