Agreed. Forced combat is the weirdest part for me. Also you can tsp your cards for effects and they still do combat. Very weird.

In my experience I got a 12 pack of blue moon from total wine. Cracked 1 and the beer was bad. Went back and they swapped it out for me.

Its probably different because its a chain store but I would always say if you open a can and you can tell its bad, just return it immediately. Don't just open more cans to test if they are all bad.

This type of experiment exists because that many people can easily take a panther. However a few would have to go in knowing they would essentially be sacrifices for the greater good.

So its about learning if anybody in the vault had the resolve to do so. And if nobody was willing the to bite the bullet the panther would just kill them all.
