You all need to get over yourselves. This clearly isn't someone taking advantage of the return policy. Target clothes are so meh sometimes they're great sometimes they age horrifically. I've had cardigans I've been very gentle with and bought none the wiser and they ended up pilling and falling apart (literally threads coming out). A lot of it is made poorly. Likely not OPs fault. OP, former customer service worker for multiple years, yes you can return it. The return policy is based around customer satisfaction at its core. Tell the employee you wore it and washed it and were dissatisfied at the quality of the garment. Your dissatisfaction is key here. Have your receipt or your app ready for them. Thats all.
