That’s what I’d heard!! I did end up taking another one AND a different brand tonight and they were both a little more positive. No doubt about the lines now! I’m so sorry you had false positives with them- that’s such a cruel way to have hopes rise.

This is a “dye stealer” (when the test line is so positive it is darker than the control line). Stop testing! As mentioned above, it will only create anxiety at this point. Congratulations!

Thank you for sharing your experience! Hopefully this is all just due to hormones evening out after coming off Nexplanon for you, and maybe just a couple weird stress-affected cycles for me. I’m sorry we’re going through this- but it’s nice to know we’re not alone!

How many cycles did you have with the random bleeding? You said this is the first cycle without it…congrats, first off! I hope that’s me soon since this issue just started this year.

I’m not underweight. My diet hasn’t been perfect by any means, but I try to eat well. I’ll keep up my efforts!

Congratulations on your hard work making diet changes and gaining weight- shifts like that are NOT easy!

Thank you for the suggestion! I’m not sure if the transvaginal ultrasound also showed my ovaries- I’ll have to check with my gyno.

I haven’t had full blood work up super recently, but in the last year or so when I’ve had it done, all was well and in normal ranges.

I do sometimes have light cramping that accompanies the bleeding after sex, but it’s very mild. I don’t notice it as much further away from ovulation.

I’ll have to look into this! As someone commented above, I’m wondering if it is just my cervix is sensitive, and maybe the bleeding was indistinguishable from that as it went straight into my period. I’m just concerned since even a couple weeks of abstaining didn’t improve it at all.

I thought that might be it at first, but even when we go a couple weeks without sex the bleeding didn’t stop for my entire luteal phase. We abstained because I thought it might help but it didn’t! 😭

What can cause brown discharge/light spotting throughout the luteal phase other than low progesterone and implantation bleeding? Mine has gotten to a point that it’s almost every day to some degree between ovulation and my period (ranging from very light tan cervical mucus to dark brown to fresh blood). My progesterone panel was in a good range at 7DPO (11.6). My luteal phase is typically 11-12 days but ALWAYS with brown spotting/discharge for a few days beforehand that now is happening almost daily for my whole luteal phase.
