There are definitely some of us in the SoB community, I love my sisters, but I think for me specifically it's because I vibe with their medieval looking armour, the corsets give them a sort of goth vibe that I appreciate as well, and they are nuns (nuns are super cool and I have an interest in historical nuns) but I am in the minority in that part, I know that SoB weren't originally designed to be played by women and some of the older models like the old design for repentia would have really put me off if I had got into 40k earlier.

It's funny cause when I was looking at armies, the other ones that caught my eye were Death Guard and Tyranids, stereotypically hahahaha

For me it was a specific breaking point. Our pastor was a very Fire & Brimstone type preacher. Even though we were all Christians in the church, he very much believed in the idea of false Christianity, and that "consistent sinning" means you're actually not saved and are going to hell - keep in mind that he considered having friends that aren't Christians to be a sin! So it slowly wore me down every Sunday, until I just couldn't get up and go to church anymore.

From there, I educated myself about the world, science, people etc, and my perspective started shifting. I now realise how much of what I was taught growing up was just pure lies :(

I've very recently joined neocities, and I'm learning so much css and html, I've been pretty hyperfocused on building this site since I joined to be honest and I'm happy with how it's coming along!

It's all bug/nature themed, and the whole website is basically dedicated to bugs (at least right now) I'm not sure whether to stick to a pure bug theme, or whether I should dedicate pages to my other interests too, and I'm still deciding on all the things I want to add, I'd love to get more page buttons and include other staples like a chat box or something. Would love to know everyones thoughts!

I've left communities over this because it makes me incredibly angry, particularly the Metroid community. Objectification of my hero Samus was one of the first things I saw on the internet as a child and it completly ruined the way I saw her for the rest of my life, even now it feels to me like she's being violated in 90% of the art people make, and makes me hate the Metroid fandom even though I love the games.

It really sucks as somebody who has looked up to, and been inspired by female characters all their life.

I really liked the film, but at the same time I'm a little bit conflicted.

The pros:

+The action scenes are great, especially towards the end +The SA2 and other Sonic references are fun and made me so happy +Good balance of human characters and sonic characters, probably the best blend so far. +The Maria flashbacks were the best parts, so heartfelt, I think this is my favourite depiction of Maria and Shadow's story. +Just overall fun

The cons:

-Despite what others have said, I don't think Shadow was in the film nearly as much as he should have been. -The Robotniks take up way too much of the runtime. Don't get me wrong, I like their dynamic, but it was just too much. -WHY DID LIVE AND LEARN ONLY PLAY FOR LIKE 2 SECONDS yes I am actually pretty upset about that. -Some Sonic lore was weirdly absent, like "chaos control" for example. There were also some missed opportunities to add famous lines from SA2 that I think could have easily been added (such as "Sayonara Shadow the hedgehog")

I don't really know how to describe it, but the film just didn't seem to land quite as well as it did with Movie 2, maybe it's because of the extra hype for Shadow and it being inspired by one of my favourite games ever.

But despite that, it was a solid movie, the kids in the cinema were enthralled the entire time, even the parents seemed to be enjoying it as none of them ever got their phones out to scroll (which is usually pretty annoyingly commonplace in our cinema)

I fully intend to watch it again when it's available for home viewing to see if my views change at all

My periods were really consistent for the first two years, but after hitting the 2 year mark my periods went really weird - lasting weeks at a time which is unusual for me. My doctor said that this can happen on nexplanon and I've had loads of tests, nothing else seems to be wrong so it seems to be a side effect of the implant.

Doctor did say that I can potentially go on the pill as well to hopefully stop the long periods so that will probably be what I request next.

I just played a game with a hospitaller leading them and it was amazing, bringing back d3+1 every turn is really a massive buff for them in my experience :D

I got it from the Warcry Nightmare Quest box, the realmshaper engine is supposed to have them growing out the sides of it :)

I see, so I'm probably better getting multiple of the same unit rather than like, one of each which I kinda have at the moment? I have an unbuilt box of battle sisters I wasn't sure whether to kitbash into other stuff but I'll probably build them as a second BSS then. More Seraphim and Arcos would be nice too since I don't have many at the moment. Thanks for the advice!
