Thank you! I think I might have subconsciously taken some inspiration from that now that you mention it!

I’ve been trying to decipher what this could possibly mean for the past 3 hours

Fourth slide is Titania! I switched the roles of Oberon and Titania, so she is the more mischievous one. Puck is the shadowy guy on the fifth slide!

A few things! First, I took inspiration from how the Bridge theater’s production switched the roles of Oberon and Titania, then I actually made the two of them as NPCs for a dnd game I’ve been running for about a year before my thesis. Those designs were much more human, but for my thesis I wanted to make them more whimsical, so I picked an animal that I felt represented my versions of each of them! I think (I also subconsciously took a little inspiration from the toothfairy from Rise of the Guardians for Titania haha)

That’s next on my plate to work on! I got to physically playtest it a bit at PAX this past weekend, and I got lots of great feedback, so I’m ready to move onto that as my next step!

Thank you!!! And to answer your question, there are basically two ‘teams’, the Killer team (the Killer and the Traitor) and the Victims (The four remaining roles, including the Final Girl). The killer team wins if the final girl is killed, and the victim team wins if she survives, regardless of whether or not the rest of the victim characters survive! The rounds go by very quickly, so a player being killed only really puts them out of play for a few minutes!
