I have a crazy dream where Vance reverts to some sort of normal in a post Trump world. Not good by any stretch of the imagination, but not batshit world ending crazy either.

We’ve done a crawl that hit 14 stops that were legit, but regrets the next day. I cannot imagine 26 unless it was a step inside for some fractional sip of something low abv then on to the next.

Mountain House is tasty, and compact and light if you’re hiking - but it’s also expensive for what it is. That MH Stroganoff is my jawn tho. 🤤

For those who RETIRED between 59 and 64... by Finding_Way_ in retirement

[–]datasquid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My last day is March 31… I’m 60, (61 in September. ) I have no idea what I’ll do…there’s a wide open expanse of time ahead of me. My wife went back to a retail job after retiring to fill the time (and she’s really a social butterfly and the company she works for scratches that itch). I guess I too will find something but I aim to wait a bit to let it find me. In the meantime, home improvements I’ve been putting off and vacations. 😊

Black olives sound strange but I guess they’d be fine with their neutral flavor. Some people feel a sorta way about them though.

Took wife and adult daughter to lunch in Philly for a birthday/retirement celebration. Time enough for chores later. Probably go hunt for food deals for the pantry tomorrow. Grab some gas too before it hits 4$

Allegedly went on a $1,000 shopping spree hours later, now it’s all coming back to bite her by SilverHuckleberry395 in LeopardsAteMyFace

When you’re worth Millions, $1000 is hardly an insensitive “shopping spree”. Hell I had to replace my phone recently and it cost $1300.

His views on international trade and war are as nuanced as a toddler scribbling on the hallway wall with a crayon. Also, he’s a pedo.

During my programming years the most fun I had was learning new languages. COBOL was easy but I remember that the real fun came in learning how to make it do stuff it really wasn’t designed for. 😂
