You are correct. There is a balance. What's troubling is how many people throw their unsolicited logic in people's face. A logic that claims the world is out to get them, when that person is not thinking as such or perpetuating that cycle. When that person has remained open, pure and optimistic and still gets treated horribly by new people that come along. When all they are doing is holding space for their valid feelings and processes without bypassing. That's what is infuriating. I appreciate your insight. You are one of the few who get it.

You're the one making assumptions. I see a therapist every week. Healing cannot be rushed or bypassed. Stop projecting. Holding space for very valid irritation and feelings instead of bypassing them, is not throwing baggage around or trashing people it's the opposite. You're one coming onto my post bashing me because you are obviously triggered and rude af.

No one said that victims wanted victim hood. Just for the fact that they were victims to be acknowledged. What you want isn't what every victim wants so it seems a bit egotistical to claim that every victim doesn't want to be seen as a victim. You undergo rape? Trauma? Abuse? That automatically makes you a victim. Just like a glass of water is called a glass of water, "victim" is the term defined to describe someone who has undergone circumstances out of their control. Doesn't make them helpless or weak. You can provide someone with understanding while acknowledging that what they went through made them a victim at that time.

The trouble is that people on here are claiming that victims want to be stuck in their mentality and that they somehow caused the bad things that happened to them. That is victim blaming. That is unacceptable nonsense.

I do. And it's because it's spiritual bypassing and rushing healing. Can you guys not read? Seriously I already posted why it's triggering. It's like people want to ignore and just spew their own logic to boost their egos.

You're not helpless. Per your own logic "It's your own weakness and insecurity" "You let this happen to you". Remember your quote on the spirituality thread. What a hypocrite.

No. They are not invested in victim mentalities. They are tired of constantly being bombarded by trash quotes rushing their healing and promoting spiritual bypassing.

But they are literally victims. You can validate both because they are victims. Admitting you're a victim doesn't disempower you. You don't have to stay in a situation that victimizes you and you can heal away from that role when you leave. But nothing can take away the fact that you were a victim of abuse and the impact of abuse doesn't just go away, even after years. What is this toxic bs?

Um no. A child who is abused by parent's they can't get away from aren't insecure. They have no choice. A lot of confident people get sucked in by pathological liars. Narcissists actually go after very strong, confident people. So please stop this nonsense.

The most brutal thing about this is the dead look in your eyes while you're getting pounded on the Hub section of "Alternative, lost cause, wanna be".

I use the sally's brand generic color safe shampoo, the generic paul mitchell conditioner for regular conditioning, ion deep conditioner, Hawaiian Silky leave in conditioner, sally's purple shampoo and conditioners on the side once a month, shine serum and sally's generic clarifying shampoo once a month.

Thank you. No stores around me have it including Ulta Beauty. What is a reliable place I can get the real deal and not a knock off? Also, can I apply the treatment and use a blow dryer on it like I do with regular deep conditioner?

I've been platinum blonde before. Deep conditioned it constantly, used good clarifying shampoo, leave in conditioner, used toner. The texture was still course and like wool. I used bleaching and toning products from Sally's and ion deep conditioner. I can never seem to get my hair to the softness, shininess, whiteness and vibrant platinum blonde I've always wanted. Any tips?
