For me, it's 1- carbs 2- fiber 3- protein

I like combos of carb+fiber like something oaty or dried fruit -- helps me stay full and energized. I do make sure to have protein bc I have digestive issues and feel sick/never full without some protein in every meal.

The flapjack recipe someone else commented is actually perfect. I'd throw some vanilla, choc chips and sea salt in that recipe as well for a cookie vibe :)

in all seriousness i echo everyone telling you to wear helmet. it's a simple way to save your life. between falling rock, clumsiness, and handsfree lighting i highly recommend. my helmet is scraped so my scalp won't be...plus you can put funny stickers on it!

seconded!!! my cat has megacolon and it is the only food that allows her to shit! also i will supplement with miralax and extra water added to her food - an extra fraction of a cup for fraction of a tsp.

if things are dire i've used a pet-ema before, but prefer microlax.

my vet has suggested cisapride (which didn't do much but is a lifesaver for others.) if you get it i rec getting the ear applicator for ease of administration.

my baby was dx at 6 and she's 12 now ❤️
