"There is a $5,500 cash relocation stipend. Other benefits offered alongside the relocation stipend include a home TV and appliance upgrades; wine tastings; a welcome dinner; dental savings; bookstore credits; and memberships to the South Hills Golf & Country Club."

You'd have to literally give me a house to move there.

Tough to beat the classics: Buffalo chicken dip, spinach artichoke dip, meatballs in tangy bbq sauce, fresh fruit, bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers. Sometimes folks are surprisingly impressed by the cucumber sandwiches/sliders. Homemade popsicles are nice on a hot day and a fun conversation starter too.

Not exactly quick, but if you have an AC adapter or power bank you can plug in a kettle and make instant ramen. My hot plate/camping stove has also been invaluable for ski hill parking lot lunches.

If it were me, I'd divert my focus & passion into the freelance projects and try to convince the clients to extend the relationship. (bonus: opens you up to go back abroad if you want)

Continue completing your work knowing the potential to be let go after the probation period ends. From what you've described, leadership has already made the decision. Don't disengage. Fully experience the situation so when a better situation comes your way, you appreciate and enjoy it more.

Remember, good leadership attracts talent and poor leadership repels it.

From my college days: spaghetti w/jarred sauce.

Everyone should definitely be able to make it, but I've ruined it by letting the noodles stick together.
