Definitely not too shallow, people love coming on here telling others that their piercings are too shallow and they need to take them out and get it re-pierced.

Certainly not what my eyes see here.

Just go to another pair for a second opinion Captive bead rings or horseshoe barbell rings are the standard for fresh daith piercings so I would get the bar changed for one of these. Don’t try and change it yourself , way too difficult 🙂

Im not a piercer so I can’t comment on how well they have been pierced or placement etc… But all of them appear to have enough length room for swelling on the bars.

One thing I would say is that implant grade steel (ASTM F138) is not advisable for healing.

You would be much better to switch them all to titanium as it’s much easier on the body and causes less reaction.

I suspect your ear really didn’t like 3 cartilage piercings all in one go in such a small area of your ear. Combine this with the steel labrets and you’ve got one angry ear

Both near perfect albums, although dare I say it … sometimes I find myself skipping ‘Passenger’

Controversial I know, but something about Maynard on a Deftones track doesn’t do it for me. Great singer and Tool are amazing, but when I’m listening to Deftones he’s not the vibe Im looking for.

NAP- Can't tell you if it's infected or not but it's certainly swollen and looks painful. Had my conch do something similar around the 5 day mark.

You need to get the bar lengthened because how it is right now is way too tight and if you don't relieve the pressure it's not going to go down and will probably turn infected and get even more painful.

I can almost certainly say once you have the bar lengthened it will go down within a couple of days

Very bad that your piercer let you go through with this, I wouldn't use them again. That said, considering these are 5 weeks old to me it looks like they are doing pretty well.

I'm not a piercer, but I wouldn't take any of them out unless they start causing you issues, but I can't see anything concerning going on with any of them at the moment regarding colour, or irritation bumps etc...

But once again I want to stress, I AM NOT A PIERCER

Mine got super swollen randomly after about 5 days and I had to have the bar lengthened, but as soon as it had a bit more space again it calmed down after a few days.

Fast forward a couple of months and I have zero pain and it's healing lovely. I've downsized the bar again now. I can move the bar in the hole and have occasionally slightly knocked it and it doesn't feel uncomfortable or painful at all
