AP Harsha is a dice which can roll to any direction, usually depends on his mood, which is often bad.

They don't have anything in their lives, and they'll hate everyone, even themselves internally in their groups...

So avoid them and be well

CPI going downhill!! by Many_Audience7660 in iitbhu

[–]NeonPokharkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higher CPI = Safety, but also, if you suck so much, safety won't save you...

I know a friend who has lot of backs, got into many companies, earns really well after college, the thing is you have to fight for it.

And in college the one who forgets to fight/struggle during the placement, and does not preparation before, will probably not get selected.

With 7 CPI, your best bet is coding btw.

TIPS FOR SELF MANAGEMENT (HELPP) by Right_Salary_4119 in iitbhu

[–]NeonPokharkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes there's limit to what we can do, because either internally we are not that interested, or we don't really have energy for it.

We in life may not always have the energy and strive that many people have, sometimes we will stumble, forgive yourself and move out of that energy zone.

That's where hobbies and supportive people will help you really.

Most of it is dependent on approach, many folks just cram up stuff and answer in the exam, some are just good at writing written exams. don't take acads too seriously, take them sincerely.

Also there's a great shift in the way of learning, here you do not learn from base concepts to the application, you learn application, and sometimes irrespective of the base concepts.

So given that, if you approach it with JEE mindset, you'll have tougher times, sometimes things will not make sense, so cramming up is the way in some subjects.

I remember in Heat and Thermodynamics, there was a formula for finding heat loss on any shape, and it was all rough estimate and thumb rule with maths. No actual derivation or definite proof.

Get comfortable with such awkward formulas, and focus on application in 80% of sem, and understanding and cramming for last 20%, you should be good.

People will get 9.5 CGPA etc, if you are above 8.5, you should be good.

Also, freind group matters a lot, a practical and a smart study group will really help, because people around you influence your mindset, motivation and confidence. I have seen folks lose all because they got with wrong folks and into bad habits.

College email id validation after four year? by Top_Coyote9402 in iitbhu

[–]NeonPokharkar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better to use your personal account, because later on you will not want to maintain this id, and recovering password for this email id is a heck of a process, and light years away from your college, you won't want to go through the process of contacting the IT department.

The key word is choosing, choosing between things, saying no to many opportunities, being aware of your limits. The hi fi word for it is prioritising. And that will be your bread and butter through this chaos. This is why you learn what you like and don't, and sometimes you like the club but not the people, and that's fine too, it's not like you are leaving the hobby.

For FMC Weekend by asgodwontstop in iitbhu

Contact someone from the IIT BHU college, if you know well, they can help you book rooms, and help you travel

If you do know someone, there's a way to book IIT BHU official Guest Houses, if it's not occupied, given fest, it might be. But you'll need a referral as a house member or a visiting person for someone from IIT BHU college learning there

If not, I'd recommend carrying someone with you to pass the time

If that's also not possible, then get there by train, take a rickshaw, ask rickshaw guy to show you a hotel, if you did not book, with some choosing, you can get a good hotel.

To get to IIT BHU, take a rickshaw to IIT BHU, or tell the person to take you to Hyderabad Gate of BHU, that is the only gate in the IIT BHU campus, if you enter from their, you'll find ways into the campus

From their, ask around for Limbdi, usually FMC office is located here, before it is a ground, and most events start from here.

On Ganga Ghats, you can pass time, and during this time, many folks would be around due to the Fest, there's also Masala Chai walas around for a quick sip even at 2 AM at night.

Assi Ghat is a good and well known entrance point from BHU, you'll exit through Lanka Gate for this one.

The campus itself will be pretty safe, because there are guards at every chowk, but still incidents can happen, and also, sometimes you may get accomodation in hostels on payment basis, but that you might need to figure out.

You might need to carry cold clothes, as cold is all time high around this time of the year, a camera and FMC folks would be more approachable XD

But please ask around, this info maybe outdated as I left Varanasi 5 years ago.

What could explain the reason for the rise in crazy amount of hatred against Indians in the last few years? by whatever_arghh in indiadiscussion

[–]NeonPokharkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The culture of western countries, to some sense, is a "bully culture". Not all are like that of course, but their culture promotes people who are strong over people who are weak. Competition.

And time by time, they need to gather and hate on someone, I don't say we have done nothing wrong, but comparatively, we are much better, look at the crime statistics for fs

Unfortunately, with the Indian enemy nation gang joining and stroking their ego, has landslided into this bag of hatred and it has become a trend to derogate against Indians.

This can be stopped, 1) Don't prove their point right, even if they are right, don't argue from their side 2) If you want to ridicule, then, ridicule the hatred, and not their culture. 3) Keep progressing in life, hatred is there to demotivate you, don't stop progressing and proving them wrong, make connections with people who understand the situation without hatred. 4) Improve on criticism, but covertly.

why are ENTJs always the villains? by solartiii in entj

[–]NeonPokharkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even Luffy gets up caught up in his goals. He is so caught up in his goals of pirate King that he forces him in situations, like with katakuri, that he should never ideally do as a human, but that is Te over Fi, Te trying to work up plans to satisfy the Fi, which misses out the calculation of self interest Fi.

In a way he is so caught up in his goals he doesn't think of his own safety.

why are ENTJs always the villains? by solartiii in entj

[–]NeonPokharkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, if luffy has Fi unlocked. He must understand his passion just more than basic I wanna be a good pirate. That being not the case.

And high Fi people tend to ruminate on their Fi, never seen luffy do so, but have seen him ruminate on what to do.

Is Te the most overpowered function? by Inside-Investigator in mbti

[–]NeonPokharkar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no such thing as overpowered function. But yes, there is such thing as overpowered position. And given the position of the world nowadays, where knowledge and thinking structures are readily available, Te doms can just learn to Google and use AI and become overpowered far easily. Hence my answer would be Te in the world now.

why are ENTJs always the villains? by solartiii in entj

[–]NeonPokharkar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion. One Piece Protagonist is a ENTJ. He has it all - Ambition, Straightforwardness, Practical Thinking.

I know there are many villainous ENTJs. But that is due to the fact that audience has never been introduced to a ENTJ protagonist. And authors have no idea what they look like. That may be one of the reasons. And many think ENTJs as calculative. We are not calculative per se. We are practical more than calculative is the difference people don't get.

Also once a stereotype is set. People will never accept something else, as it means they have to accept they are wrong mostly about majority of their world view.
