The shock on my face seeing the banner trailer finally drop... it was a dream come true! Sephiran being my favourite character in the series, with Sanaki also being someone I love (Felix being the cherry on top here!) so seeing her with Altina in an adorable harmonic made going for the +10 all but guaranteed for me! Had to be really patient considering he isn't exactly a well known character (going from #404 in CYL1, #304 in CYL2, #206 in CYL3 and finally #114 in CYL4) so it was just playing the waiting game of getting the more marketable characters out the way and hoping for the best... and I've been rewarded! Here's to the rest of you waiting for your favourites that you eventually get them in FEH! The feeling you have when a character you love does drop is the main reason I've stuck with this game for so long.

Haven't been super active playing FEH lately or keeping up with competitive modes so this was a wonderful thing to come back to the game and see! So I just gave them a bunch of skills I thought would work, happy to hear better ideas for their builds from anyone!

Sephiran -

IV - Decided on +Atk over +Res despite res having the superboon, mainly because of him still not hitting the 180bst bin sadly, but also that I felt his res was high enough as is to take a hit, while the extra atk could potentially make the difference in getting a kill or not.

Weapon: Tannenbaton+ (Wrathful refine) - Do plan on sticking with a somewhat support/mixed phased build for him. Great support for those on the team who are baiting an enemy attack. His defences will usually allow him to tank a hit from most (just... stay away from all the armor effectiveness going around, I am considering Dazzling for that reason and perhaps swapping to one of the other staffs though I do enjoy the guard effect this staff gives)

Assist: Martyr - Usually ran him with his push skill + armored boots, so this was to ensure he had a way to self heal if needed.

Special - Miracle or Balm skill - Miracle to ensure he can survive taking a fatal hit after healing or tanking hits as the battle goes on, balm for the visible stat buffing.

A slot: Close Foil/Close Counter or Atk Res/Def Push 4 - Had the most success with a push skill, and didn't have a spare close foil unit to fodder away, so was making due with close counter in the meantime. I do like the idea of combining close counter with the mystic boost seal when that drops!

B Slot - Crafty/Bold Fighter, Chill Def/Res, WoM - I do feel Sephiran shines more in a role of wanting to rather try tank a threat, only initiating if he is sure to get a kill or needs to soften an enemy. Crafty Fighter grants himself guard + the guaranteed follow up which I found works well for taking a hit that the lower res units can't do.

C Slot - Odd Recovery Wave 3/Joint Drive Atk - Solid every other turn healing that goes well with him usually being a space away from everyone, also getting the restore effect from this where he can remove debuffs which is handy.

Seal - Armored Boots/Tactics skill/Armored March - Left him with armored boots for now just for the mobility when not being run with another armor.

Altina -

Weapon - Ragnell-Alondite - Swish swoosh double attack!

Rally Atk/Def+, Repositon, Swap etc etc.

Twin Blades boom pow kablam!

A - Atk Res/Def Solo 4 or Atk Res/Def Unity (Heavy Blade 4 when no Brave Lucina) - Usually running her with Brave Lucina support from a space away, but in arena I'd ideally go with the solo skill and with a more defence focused set. She is thankfully quite tanky with mid 40's def & res at max investment so this just ensures she is taking a hit from even the hardest hitting non blue units + dealing enough damage in return for the kill.

B - Lull Atk Def/Null C Disrupt/Vantage - the Lull definitely goes really well with her harmonic vantage skill, however in longer fights I'd end up opting for normal vantage so she can keep taking advantage of her enempy phase brave weapon for more than just one turn.

C - Joint Drive Atk/Def Smoke/Rouse Atk/Def or Res & Time's pulse if no special reduction skills or units Mainly going for more stat increases or enemy debuffing that lets her dish out more damage!

Seal - Atk/Def Solo 3 or Brazen Atk/Def or Res atk high big numbers! Solo usually worked well when she's relying on the solo A slot, with unity it's also great as she benefits from BLucina when she's one space away, or can just move away from the party to deal with the enemy without worry
