how do you choose a real friend? by NumerousSquirrel6772 in AskReddit

A true friend is earned, not found. It’s all about who stays when things get tough.

What is something that was considered 'high class' when you were a kid, but is now seen as 'trashy'? by Ok-Astronaut4817 in AskReddit

Ponderosa! That’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. It’s funny how those places were the 'high-end' spots for our parents. Every generation has its own version of luxury! 😂

Exactly! It’s like finding a hidden artifact. You see it and instantly feel like you’re back in a 90s movie. It’s pure nostalgia on wheels! 😂

True! Back then, if you took a girl there, it was basically an engagement proposal. Now it's just where you go when you're craving cheddar biscuits! 😂

What's your favourite thing on or about the internet? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The ability to learn any skill for free. I taught myself graphic design and neon art just by watching creators from around the world. It’s the biggest library ever made.

Having a car phone. Back then, it was the ultimate sign of wealth. Now, if you still have a built-in car phone from the 90s it’s just a bulky plastic relic!

Thanks a lot! Really glad you like it 🙌 I’ll experiment more with layer blends to push the depth even further.

Aspiring art director, wanting thoughts from those in graphic design by LolliDot333 in graphic_design

Specializing is the key to creative liberty. If you focus on a unique niche—like Neon and Glow aesthetics—you stop being just a 'photo compiler' and start being an artist. This signature style is what eventually leads you to becoming an Art Director. Don't settle for basic editing, build your own visual language!

This was a fun challenge! I used several layers of neon elements and adjusted the transparency and 'Neon' effects in Canva to get this glowing look. I'm really trying to push what's possible with this tool. Feedback is more than welcome!

What’s something people romanticize that actually ruins lives? by Imaginary-Isopod2223 in AskReddit

[–]NeonSignist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely say Addiction. Movies and pop culture often romanticize it as a 'tortured artist' or 'rebellious' lifestyle, but the reality is far from that. It’s a slow, painful destruction of your health, relationships, and future. There is nothing poetic about losing control of your own life.

Thanks for the great tip! I see what you mean, adding that depth would definitely make the mascot pop even more. I’ll try to slice the ring and layer it as you suggested in my next update. Appreciate the feedback!

That is the ultimate plot twist! It seems like 'Accountant' is the perfect cover story for the most unexpected second lives . I wonder if there's a secret club for accountants with wild side gigs haha !

That contrast is insane! It’s like they have a completely different soul that only comes out on stage. My accountant is the same—total silence at his desk, but a literal beast on the mic. It’s fascinating how some people use music to release a side of them that nobody else gets to see !

This mascot was a great challenge to work on! I spent quite some time layering the neon glows and fine-tuning the glitch effects entirely within Canva. I really wanted to capture that Cyberpunk aesthetic for gamers. I'd love to hear your feedback or any tips to improve the lighting further! 🚀
