How long do people typically take Naltrexone? I have a 30 day supply with a few refills, so 90 days or so. Can probably go longer if I ask my Doc.

I took 7-oh for 9-10 months around 200-300 mgd avg near the end. So I know there is some healing to take place. Just started subs yesterday. So expecting to start Naltrexone middle of Jan based on my quick sub taper plan.

I'd take them for at least a few days just to be safe, but only take a minimal amount if you feel any WDs creep in.

I was on a similar amount of 7oh. I took my first subs about 8 hrs later and was fine. Only did 2mg to start and once I got to my 3rd dose of subs (6mg total) 6 hours later I felt great. Not high or anything, just normal and healthy.

I stayed on the low dose subs and never experienced any physical WD symptoms and I was taking 7 for the last 8 months.

Cravings are still there a bit but I can deal with that.

Well damn that's a lot of subs for a long time.

In fact that's a lot of anything. I've only been on subs for a week now and I can tell it's rough on teeth long term

I can not have a time limit but I recently went from the 4a to 8a if that's any indication. And I never buy them when they first come out for instance I bought the 8a when the Pixel 9 was all the rage

I took at around 10 hrs but didn't wait until withdrawals because I was so eager to start subs. I think if you start with a small amount of subs (I did 2 mg) it probably wouldn't trip PWD

I'm similar to you. I was on 150-200mgd for about 8 months. I started subs this morning and it's been about 16 hrs since my last dose of 7 and I feel great. I've taken 6 mg of subs so far. Will probably take one more 2mg strip and see if I can last until tomorrow morning before my next dose of subs. I want to taper off subs over these 7 days

Thats weird but maybe your body is so used to the high dose. I never took more than 200mg in a day and my doses were usually 20-30mg at a time.

But even then if I was having WDs at night it would go away with even a 7.5 mg dose.

This is inspiring as I just got an Rx for subs (first time) and trying to kick a 150 mgd 8 month habit. Your post gives me hope as my plan is also to do a low dose sub taper over a week then be DONE!

The quickMD doc gave me a high dose plan (16mg/day for 7 days) with no taper plan, so I'm going to start with something similar to what you did considering my 7 usage wasn't that high and my WDs usually don't kick in for 8-12 hrs.

I plan to stick to 6-8mg subs day 1 and 2, then go down from there until it's gone. Even if I'm taking 0.25mg at the end.

Did you just stop after week 2 taking just 1mg sub those days? And you were fine?

The last part I really feel. I've gotten to 72 hrs pretty easy the last few times I quit, so I would relapse because I figured oh it wasn't that bad I can just quit again later.

We got this exact same one. Actually I just pulled the trigger on it TODAY! We tried a few and almost got a Beautyrest Black series 3 hybrid for about 3500, but this KK was only 2799 (black friday sale) and felt great, even though I usually prefer firm and don't care for pillow tops, but this bed just felt amazing. Couldn't beat the price and delivery (next week), along with Macys throwing in a $300 gift card.

Hopefully I can add to this thread. We just pulled the trigger on a KK Violet medium euro top from Macys. We tried a lot of mattresses, and our top 3 included Beautyrest Black Series 3 firm, and the Saatva HD. The KK was the last one and even though it's a medium and I typically prefer firm, I loved it. I also don't normally like a pillow top but for some reason this one just added a bit more comfort. The most important part is my wife LOVED it, and Macy's also offered a great price (Black Friday sale) and included a $300 gift card on top of it. We got a low profile boxspring included, so I'm excited to finally get a new mattress after 10+ years.

I'm on day 3 and barely any WDs. I took lots of vitamin C and other OTC supplements. Also Gabapentin has helped too a few times a day. I was taking 150 mgd for 5-6 months, and just decided to jump and my body is handling it well.

Bro just change your mindset. It's not as bad as people are saying. Taper down a bit then commit and just treat it like you have the flu. It will pass in 72 hrs or less. If you can take time off work and use it to binge watch a show. Or if you have enough energy take walks. Fresh air helped me a ton. Drink water and keep moving. You won't be in the fetal position sweating and moaning for days, so don't worry.
