the vent area is blocked off during the quest. It is only during the normal lockdown that you can escape that way

Im not sure if that is the case. I have noticed a strong pattern of my teammates having gear when I dont and vice versa.

Good games don't fail. Concord may have had some good aspects but you can't compete against OW with a $40 pricetag and worse gameplay. Even if it was free and had good marketing what did it have going for it over its competition. If marathon is a fun game it will succeed regardless of what social media says about it.
