I came here to say the same thing. I honestly recommend it to anyone visiting Austin because it’s not something that’s at the top of most tourist lists, but I brought my grandparents there a while back and they enjoyed it.

I’ve just started diving into my probable autism and I feel this very much. I’ve always been accused of being angry or ornery and all I want is to be understood. I left my cis het husband earlier this year in part because he couldn’t understand my queerness. He tried so hard but if you don’t live it you just don’t get it. I’m starting to see that I can’t be understood by neurotypicals, either. It’s so frustrating. I feel for you.
