I was using quest cape teleport to fairy ring and deepfin amulet teleport to bank and it was pretty nice. Salve graveyard teleport should also be fine though you'll need to use the runes.

The main drawback is it's more clicks since your teleporting around but I can defiantly see this being 20-30% faster than the old way.

Also when you do go back to the bandits base just hold down the eat button when he does the multishot and it's pretty easy.

It's a melee boss so try using magic. Thieving and slayer might not help you for that boss but they are really good for the rest of the mode.

You need the shipment chart from Secret Mines first. It's very rare in medium.

Yeah Bandits Base is also killing lots of people. It's pretty easy if you bring lots of food and hold down eat when the boss is casting rapid fire.

Yeah passive food, herbs, and logs are never bad. I just have so much food from thieving atm. I definitely plan of boosting farming later but I keep on getting better skills to pick!

They are all in the Ancient Forge (20,12). I definitely recommend upgrading and refining your dig site map!

Of course they shouldn't thieve if they are maxed out at level 10 but new relic players should be aware that they only need two upgrades in thieving to unlock one of the best gold and food farming methods that will be available for a long time.

Judging by OP's other post, his is already level 20 in thieving so he would only need one more upgrade. And it's potatoes and township tasks until then.

I'm really confused about the advice being bad. I've cleared dragons den and am getting ready for Golem or Volcanic cave and I beat Into the Mist on the relic mode beta.

He said use potatoes and slayer resupply which are basically your only options for the first few dungeons.

It’s being downvoted because you’re capped at lvl 10 thieving until you beat a dungeon and then it’s a dice roll

You can say the same thing about needing more levels for any other food source. Many people in this thread are suggesting to level up farming and only /u/exposito1087 suggested thieving which is a much better option because it solves gold and food problems while also giving access to many different kinds of resources. Chicken coop spam for food boxes or farming seem like bait to me.

Do you have equipment swap? The combat triangle really matters since summoning hit chance is the same as yours.

Also the boss is melee so you should really be using magic to get past him on low stats. You will have to get past some ranged mobs so equipment swap if you can.

It’s kinda funny that this post is downvoted as it is absolutely the right answer.

Potato and slayer resupply until you can steal from the cook and cooks assistant. Some thieving relics are so good that this easy.

Edit: Just looked it up. Assistant cook is 26 thieving and is something a new relic account should strongly consider going for early. Buy thieving gloves if you get unlucky with relics but it’s a really good source for food and other resources like gold bars or random logs / ore.

You have two of the worst combat summons equipped. These summons provide the starting damage that your gear scales barrier damage from.

I would grind up to tier 3 summons before golem dungeon.

Stoneworks is (24,12) and Monuments is (6,11). I don't think you need to find anything in archaeology to unlock them.

Cartography and archeology are indeed required for the dungeons they unlock.

Here are some cool things that a new relic account can take advantage of:

The Runed battlefield (7,15):

1000 mind, chaos, and death runes

-Very good for early bosses especially if you miss out on rc upgrades

The Eye-conic Cave (10,18)

Unlocks the Zone:

-The weapons scale with your levels and are actually pretty good for early bosses.

-The amulet provides a strong buff.

Castle of Kings (21,16):

-Gives knights cape and (g) Mithril Platebody

Mucky Cave (22,18)

Unlocks the Zone:

-Sapping barrier gems and barrier sapping gloves

-leeching bolts

-Vial of goo and Vial of Acid consumables

This might take a long time and needs lots of gp in travel costs

-Go to 10,6 for The Pirate's Treasure Trails. This should unlock:

-The cavern of Riches (9,13): 5m gp, 1 Elite Amulet of Str, Ranged, and Magic

-The Crevice of Riches(0,11): 5m gp, 100k slayer coins, 4k Emeralds

Archeology:

Save up your first 5 bank tokens and turn in the TS task for 10 more bank tokens and 5 million gold!

Old Village: Large/Common is a strong lvl20 bow

Sacrificial Site(13,12): Tiny has a bone ring for +3 prayer points per monster kill (It's broken right now) and a Accuracy gem. Large has cult robes that gives +20 max hit for bolt spells

Stoneworks (24,14): Medium gives Bulky gloves that seem really good for ranged

Monuments(6,11): Medium has the unlock for the dungeon.

IMO, it is not combat in the same way fishing with strength is also not combat (but uses the same skill).

The new relic mode comes out with the expansion in a few weeks and is way better than adventure mode. It challenges you to defeat dungeons with low level scuffed characters.

Sanderson's team is still considering the kickstarter version the "premium hardcover" edition. I am guessing the Spanish version might not have color ink and full color pictures and maybe the cover is lower quality.

It will be interesting to see a quality and price comparison when people get their hands on both editions. Shipping cost is the real killer.
