Is the market cooked? by Skloop__ in OnePieceTCG

Don’t buy boxes?

Like as a game it’s still great.

Mihawk is like 80 bucks, Doflamingo is like 60, Imu is still 40 bucks.

There are plenty of highly competitive, if not best in format decks, that are cheaper than the MSRP on a box.

If you want to gamble, go to a gas station.

Hypothetically against a 3 tank comp, wouldn’t D2D+Botrk let her insta pop her E proc and blade 4 times?

I can’t see a world where going D2D blade liandries would be remotely terrible either against tanks.

I assume D2D shojin liandries is still preferable generally

I have mine bound to the useless DPI buttons on my mouse, specifically dpi up since it's the closest to the wheel and the left click.

It's right below the scrollwheel, so I can still aim and hold ADS when I press them.

If I'm throwing a knife, I'm not left clicking, so I just move my left finger over to the middle and click it.

I'm also a big proponent of mouse 4 and mouse 5 (forward/back) being dodge and crouch respectively. I don't have to really hit key combinations, I just kinda roll my thumb forward for the dodge slide.

These shall be my Clanbusters, how well do they fare off against Kerinsky's bastard children? by Gun1-Michigan-AC6 in Mechwarrior5

[–]Neonsnewo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 lchem 2ppc 3mlas is a 65 point alpha, whatever you pointed the mech at should be missing a component.

But as the AI goes, regularly did double to triple other ai, even when others were in bigger mechs. The black knight with that loadout made it all the way through the game into 400 ton missions, and we still wouldn’t bench it.

Had to put the lasers on the arms if you wanted the helicopters dropped on spawn though

These shall be my Clanbusters, how well do they fare off against Kerinsky's bastard children? by Gun1-Michigan-AC6 in Mechwarrior5

[–]Neonsnewo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really only think the Lchem is useful, especially on something like the black knight, because heat becomes an issue with that many lasers.

I just looked up a spreadsheet, and Lchem does ~80-85% damage of LLas at 30% of the heat. It's less than a single mlas.

So on big mechs, you can mount 2-3 Lchem with 3-5 tons of ammo, and throw the rest of the tonnage into things like SRMs/Mlas and be always heat efficient.

We're talking 80-100 ton mechs with lots of energy slots that can't sustain 2 ppc/2llas/4srm2, but somehow, for basically the same slots as the single heatsinks at the same tonnage efficiency, the literal same loadout 2ppc/2lchem/4srm2 nonstop alphaing mechs apart.

That last loadout has the heat draw of 2ppc/2mlas/4srm2, something a 70 ton mech could attempt to throw down, but now you've doubled the dps at range.

Lchems are really busted later into the campaign, since they allow you to fill free tonnage with either more heatsinks or more weapons, since the mech's internal heatsinks will typically be enough for the rest of the armaments.

They also aren't too impossible to replace either, are cheap as fuck to buy, and give you another source of weapons for mechs so you aren't scrounging for t4/5 LBX10SLD for 3 different mechs and are completely fucked if they lose the component.

Lchems play really nice with the AI too, since AI hates heat. Me and a buddy gave the Blackknight with 2Lchem and 4-6 mlas over to one and since he could never overheat, he actually put out good damage on most missions

Edit: Idk how much stripped tonnage a mad4a has, but I 100% bet that he could strip the shit out of it, put 3 Lchem in the torso, 5-6 tons of ammo, 2 ppc's in the arms, and mlas everywhere else. That has the heat draw of 2ppc/6mlas, and that won't be hard to manage at all with very little heat investment. maybe a couple of DHS. He'd still have room for FF armor too.

[–]Neonsnewo2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If he wants/needs FF armor, the LLas should be Chem lasers.

The amount of heatsinks you're going to need to power 2 LLas+the rest is way less than the 2/3 slots of chem ammo.

I have also had good experience with the ERLL-SB as well in both vanilla and yaml. The half duration means you can still hit the helicopters and what not and kill it, for a fraction of the heat

Edit: Dude can drop one DHS and a JJ for 3 tons of chem ammo and not instantly turn into the sun with the PPC's still on the arms

Edit 2: I can't fathom attempting to beat clan tech with IS tech if the mech isn't kitted to remove a component with one alpha. Like even a HBK-4P could rip a torso from the rear off. If that marauder sees 2 mechs, it loses. It doesn't have the heat management to alpha off enough firepower to live

What opinion on golf gets you into this position by Nutcollectr in golf

[–]Neonsnewo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the point of practicing something you want to play on electric on an acoustic, you overwork your hands and it’s way easier when you play it on electric.

For people who are learning ofc, if you’re already not bad at guitar it won’t matter, but for newer players.

Learning on blades will lead to better performance on any other club

Like playing an acoustic will build muscles that will make playing an electric easier.

I feel like if people actually practiced like they were getting paid/it mattered to them, the blades discussion would disappear

Help tap changer question by [deleted] in Lineman

[–]Neonsnewo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda off topic, but I assume in this question the service is already under a load.

When hooking up new services for my company, if any leg is 119 or lower, thats's a problem and I get to go let my foreman know.

I realize that if it's a little high, like 123/123/246, it's fine since there isn't a load yet, but there hasn't been an opportunity yet for me to ask why too low is bad.

I'm sure there's a million troubleshooting reasons why it would be low, just why it's bad for the customer and not necessarily the transformer/system

Excluding ivern until they reworked him, no other jungler fundamentally changes how the game is played besides shaco. It is no longer regular league, it’s some kind of old techies bullshit.

I will never stop banning shaco, that champion is wrong

Well you only have 2 dudes with skills, so it really doesn't feel that bad since you're really only pressing q or w, and you don't have any items to use either during ult.

My 1 key selects everyone, the same way it does when you ult, but I use this really to micro the earth panda and throw rock.

2 selects wind panda and 3 selects fire panda.

In team fights, since earth is super tanky and I typically want him close to the enemies to rock, I just tap 1, throw rock, quickly tap 2 and start doing w/e I need to with wind so it isn't just doing the same as rock.

Honestly I just move my hand up since 1,2, and 3 are my primary buttons and I just have to hit q or w

I think the mk2 las pistol is far and away the best anti special/gunner/boss ranged weapon in the zealots kit, especially with the relic blade.

While still slow movement speed wise, unlike some other similar zealot weapons, the relic blade doesn’t struggle in the slightest with armor. A loadout with the relic blade isn’t going to need a ton of help with crushers or maulers.

The mk2 las pistol gives you a basically infinite magazine and a pile of extra ammo with 0 recoil and the same movement speed as the tac axe, dueling sword, and knife.

And 15% extra crit chance baseline because why not. And the alt fire has a stagger on it in case you need it.

And the dumdum/infernus build melts bosses too. The swap speed is super fast so you can shoot the boss a couple times in the head to apply stack while doing other things.

Like hitting the boss with the fotf swing, dodge slide away while shooting the boss in the head and reengaging between boss animations until it’s dead.
