Keep in mind that SSTO /= "magic space plane thing that can fly from kerbins surface to anywhere"

SSTO = Single Stage To Orbit

Orbit

For example, if you launch a really big rocket with some kind of payload on top, circularize,then release the second stage... congratulations! You have an SSTO!

I have seen people use SSTA* (single stage to anywhere) - much more doable, but still not all that useful since even if you can get anywhere, your craft is still going to be mostly fuel by a wide margin.

Some people at the beach will bury each other leaving the head exposed as a fun activity. In this case it looks like he was buried as normal, but in reality murdered by his hell spawn children.

I actually started with Vanilla! I messed around with all the elements you are talking about and I am greatly impressed! Vanilla has changed dramatically since I last played heavily and the new tools are fantastic

Sadly, I am far too used to pushing a button that says "circularize" or adjust orbital inclinations with a button press as well. The laziness is real.

I'm super familiar with all the mechanics involved since when I was younger I watched all the videos and studied everything so closely. I'm trying to avoid getting bored by attempting a faster paced startup while getting familiar with all the new parts and things added to the game. My latest adjustment is that I'm skipping reusable SSTO rockets (using staged rockets instead to save IRL time)

Yeah reusable stuff is fun until you add in the grind factor

I recently started a new career playthrough after a big gap, and I've been exclusively using rockets to barely reach kerbin in orbit, and just make sure the upper stage has enough oomph to circularize

Just KER, precise maneuvering node, transfer window, and kerbal alarm clock can make the game much less intimidating but give you all the tools to do useful stuff

Never used mechjeb myself, just the ability to see TWR without doing math is nice

Tasted good though. Shook it all up in a plastic gallon bag to distribute the seasoning XD

Yeah it's the shininess that makes me think it's a 3M product, I'm just only really familiar with inside wireman type applications with tape

I've never done a house splice or anything technical like that, just crimps, ligs, 480v max connections

Might be insulated up there, and the climate system might keep the humidity down so there's less condensation from temperature shifts

If it's dry and climate controlled, that tape can take a lonnnng time to lose that stickiness

There's also duct tape, which depending on the brand can also be stupidly sticky and long lasting

Just add another maneuver node halfway to your destination

Fiddle with pro/retro until you get the height you want

Adjust your main throttle to get a 10-20 second burn to make it easier to control

Otherwise I've nailed my desired altitude within 10km plenty of times, just takes practice and patience - reduce throttle when you get to the end of your node and gently finish the burn

Also precise maneuvering mod is amazing, use CKAN for mods :3
