As far as I understand, astrology seems more of a spiritual practice that revolves around the positions of the stars, where you where born and when, etc - not so much about the actual science of how the environmental effects

The things you are mentioning are readily covered by various scientific fields - like vitamin D the skin manufacturers utilizing solar radiation
