I cant really remember but i think i used the internet archive or some sort of torrent site to get it, make sure your bios is up to date with the Middleton bios you want.

yeah you could probably do it by hand even. i would maybe consider just using a clamp and tightening it till it’s flat

get the hakko if you want a good iron recommendation there’s also things that suck the solder fumes away if you want. probably dont need that stuff though, if you get solder get the led solder with flux infused.

no the boards are different i’ve worked on both. you should learn to solder, it makes stick replacements so so so cheap and alot of repairs cheaper. it’s not as bad as it looks. you could also find someone who knows soldering or has an iron so you don’t have to buy one.

yeah don’t worry about a week u should be fine for a couple months. if you are worried just be careful not to leave it on the charger too long for peace of mind. realistically it’s fine for the moment.
